Have the Lakers thought about running some offense or something, or are they going to stick with the launch and hope strategy?
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:25 pm
Pierce and Ray just can't get into the rhythm tonight due to fouls. Good that KG is stepping up big. I also like how Davis is playing.
What a great game though.

Celtics have forced the Lakers into some really bad shots but they're still getting killed on the boards, more wasted opportunities.

It's surprising though that they're still leading. The pace has been exactly the way Boston wanted, grind out low scoring game, but somehow the Lakers defense is holding the Celtics down even at their own game. I love this kind of physical intensive games, but hoping to see better officiating. Other than that, quite alright game.

Derek Fisher and Big Baby ARE this fourth quarter, I love this.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:37 pm
They're going to review that? Pretty clearly Celtics ball this time around.
Nice to see KG show up tonight though.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:38 pm
Oh, you're kidding. They've actually overturning it. No, Mike Breen, it is NOT a good call.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:41 pm
I thought they got both those last reviews right actually.
DEREK FISHER IS BLOWING MY MIND JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!
Sorry, I had to say that.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:42 pm
well thats it. not gonna say it was good, this game was fucking bullshit
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:43 pm
I thought they got the first one wrong, the second one right. Doesn't really matter though as it looks like Fisher's heroics might have just wrapped this one up, Celtics just gave him that three point play.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:43 pm
...both reviews were the right call.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:45 pm
too bad they cant review all the other bullshit
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:45 pm
i love this replay rule
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:47 pm
It could have gone either way but I guess it was a right call since the ball clearly rolled off the fingertips of KG. Without a video review, I'm pretty sure it was to go BOS's possession.

Anti-Kobe refs let Rondo flagrantly foul Odom, give the ball to the Celtics.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:47 pm
great flop
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:47 pm
Garnett brain fart there, Ray had a bucket. Now the refs are going back into calling it tight after letting them play for most of the game.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:48 pm
I still thought the first one was off Kobe, but it is what it is. Meanwhile, I thought Gasol flopped a bit though KG was overly aggressive. Game over, surely.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:50 pm
Don't like that intentional foul by Rasheed Wallace. You've already basically conceded the game and let them run time off the clock, at this point just let it go and re-group for Game 4.

I love Twitter:
russbengtson If the Lakers pull this out, I hope Fish makes someone say Little Rock.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:51 pm
nice game

If Kobe fans had a right to balme officiating in game 2, I do believe Boston fans also rightfully can do so on Pierce and Allen for officiating affecting their games tonight.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:52 pm
"Big game, but why so emotional?" Possibly the worst question a courtside reporter has ever asked.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:53 pm
Ray Allen fucking blows. Totally lost the game for Boston. Would be shocked if Boston lost game 4 though.

Please. That was simply the Kobe-led invincible defense of the Lakers. This game was still called blatantly against the Lakers. That's the only way the Celtics even got back in the game despite Kobe going off in the third quarter.
Ray Allen: 0-14.
Kobe took the challenge and eliminated him from the game. And the Celtics from the series.
Case closed.
