Tough loss against the 'Cats. I hope you can beat the Suns to get you over .500 again.

Noah should be getting more burn.

Losing because you didn't realize you had a timeout left must suck..........

Ouch, robbed of an exciting finish due to sketchy AI (you're still playing CPU vs CPU, right?); tough break. Great write-up and presentation as always, though.

Ax, Thierry - thx guys; Martti - he will (what he does with it is another matter); megarover - yes, it does; Andrew - that's correct, but in this instance i did try to intervene and call the timeout once i realized it wasn't called instantly by the AI; unfortunately Curry was already in process of taking the shot so i missed it by a literally a fraction of a second :(

anyway, GS@PHX next...

I didn't know Noah has a goatee. Start that rookie man, many will support your team if you start Maverick.

Nice win, good to see Noah getting the start though it wasn't a particularly impressive outing for him. Tough break with Morrow going down as well, though looks like Wafer's close to being on the mend.

Once again great game by Martin. You locked Barbosa but Dudley was on fire for them.

Noah didn't perform that well but I am surprised you replaced Curry of all people.

Didn't notice that until you pointed it out. He didn't do a bad job as the sixth man though.

dare - it's his hair in that pic but i'll need to tone down Noah's fumanchu-style goatie texture a little lol;

Thierry - lol totally didn't catch that Dudley was the lead scorer for PHX... and not a word about him in the recap :lol: ; just like the real NBA, no love for the non-Stars... reminds me of coming home from exciting Warriors games where Monta would go off for 40 against say the Grizz, but SportsCenter highlights would be all about covering Kobe's "going off for 31" in LA...

megarover - Curry's been annoying me lately; playing more like a volume shooter Iverson/Monta 'gunner' Ellis than a playmaker;

Andrew - gonna try different lineups as 'coach Johnson' wants to see what he's got to work with; Noah really underperformed in his first start but will likely give him a few more tries; at some point, a big man will likely be on his way out; Morrow going down was a bummer but will definitely mean Curry back to the starting lineup after 1 game coming off the bench

That's the problem with your roster, you don't have a true play-maker, Curry is more of a shooter, especially in Live 06.

You should trade one of your bigs for a back-up PG, a true PG.

open to suggestions for consideration. starting to think i may have goofed in not re-signing Delonte West and letting him team up with Monta in Houston :doh:

Finally, Noah is worth the price of admission. Although an exhausted Hawes, who sucks defensively as it is, is a perfect target.

And usually it's the guy who played for you, who kills you, like Maggette did.

Only 12 assists, that's quite poor.

I've also noticed you're shooting really well... this past 3 games over .450%... :bowdown: Noah and Azubuike were unstoppable.

Much better game by Noah, great win. Certainly some low assist numbers in that one though.

Great game by Joakim. The guy's a beast in video games if you utilize him.

Noah really dominated the game, I hope it continues.

consensus = Noah's the real deal.

Puts me in a bind since i like Biedrins but am knee deep in capable bigs, making him a little redundant; the team could use some quality backcourt or swingman player but we'll see how things pan out

The Giles Files

Image

Every few weeks 54-year-old veteran scout, Giles West, returns to meet with the Golden State Warriors' staff with info regarding the coming draft class of 2012.

In childhood, Giles West was stricken with polio and suffered a weakened, malformed leg. He also took a great liking to the game of basketball yet as he grew older, he realized his disability limited him to recreational ball which made him resentful.

Seeking remission from his anger, West turned to religious studies to understand his great love of basketball and the irony of his inability to participate at the higher levels. Through religion he began to accept his limits, appreciate the human form and obsess in physical perfection.

'Deacon' West received a doctorate in Theology from the Divinity School of Duke University and has been a part-time NBA scout for over 20 years. West is a specialist of Africa, having traveled to and preached in many congregations of the continent the majority of his adult life. His continued community involvement and church services often serve the ulterior motive of scouting prospective NBA talent.

While not the best in spotting offensively gifted players and even worse locating good defenders, West does have a keen sense in finding the most athletically gifted. His philosophy, whether misguided or not, has always been that, "anyone can learn the game and get 'good' through hard work and discipline… but to excel, to really reach the pinnacle of human performance requires something more - some raw, innate, natural physical talent. That is a true gift of the Divine."

Below are clippings from his notes shared with the Golden State Warriors staff on the upcoming class of 2012.
