I have a questions. It is possible to play an association mode for that roster?

I ask , because when I try to play association or season, the game has been crashing. I turn on customize league and add 8 new teams (76, bucks......). but I can't choose these teams. I can choose only rest 22 teams, but when I'm in the game (season etc) suddenly I can "play" 9 teams. "play", I cannot play because the game after the first game simulation crashed.

And I have one problem more. Some players like Pippen, Drexel (legends) disappears from the game. They are vanishing from teams rosters.
I have the same problem (vanishing players) in my xbox360 with retro rosters like 91/92/93. And important thing . I have a both games original and updated .


Do you have that problem too or this is only my problem?

If we would transfer the players from created teams to those teams that have these days players will the association mode wouldn't crash? So we could play association mode without those created teams.

I played some exhibition game. The mode is awesome, court, cf's, roster, but in my Pc i can't play season and association

Vanishing players- always disappears 3/4 players from legend roster. Usually Pippen, Olajuwon, D.Robinson and Mullin/ L.Johnson.
That is better score if I compare with 91 mode from xbox360. There I always lost 8 players

I was hope that the problem concern only xbox360, and now I got surprise. My Pc doesn't like legends players too. I'll try to find a problem in the net but if someone have a solution, please write.

I have done everything like is on youtube instruction. On the youtube the nba logos are retro. In my nba logos are still new / default. Maybe this is the fault reason. I installed something wrong? Every files I pasted to main nba2k10 folder except roster of course:)

anyway...can someone explain which files to add in 2k10 folder. i tried to add all files from downloaded folders. i have all the courts but rosters are from 09-10!? what could i do wrong?

yeh i just loaded it up as redid mine and im having the same issues, its gotta be something going on with the created 8 teams, and the roster memory, im guessing, the game doesn't sorta know where to get the data from, so it just loads what it see's and wipes the players it doesn't recognize, that's my thinking at least. it works fine in exb mode though.

you have to start backwards from philli, then you'll see the teams, from there, but in association mode and season mode, legends are disappearing for some reason, im thinking something in the roster, with the created teams.

to the guy asking where to place the files, make a complete backup of your main 2k10 folder, and put all the files in that folder, making the back up, will allow you to have two separate games.

i've made a backup copy and extracted/replaced .iff, .cdf files in 2k10 folder. but it's still not ok...some teams do have retro jerseys and courts but rosters are current. any idea?

you will also have to download the 2001 mod from inbar, for logos, also check the thread here, for new updates that was posted yesterday, and just make sure you load the roster in- game, once you have all the iff files replaced it should work for ya.

Go to your start button and then type in the "run" box this %appdat% if you have vista or win 7, but if you got xp I'm sorry I don't remember . Anyways you go username/appdata/roaming you should see a folder named 2K SPORTS click it then you should see a NBA 2K10 folder click that, then you'll will see your SAVES folder thats where you put all your rosters you downlodoad bro hope that helps have fun

guys i see you are having issues trying to play association mode i tested and i am getting the same
issues, custombuiltx is right i think it has something to do with the team files, SHIT...I am really sorry
i think the only way we will be able to play is if all teams are finished without the team files, sorry guys
that's all i wanted outta of this was association play so its back to the drawing board but i am gonna be very busy
because i just started a new job and they require 90 day training for 11 hours a day, if anyone wants to help create the final 8 teams in there reg teams i will send you a fresh roster
without the teams files in it just send me a pm

sent me and i didn't do anything to it i went to association and the same thing the game crashed so
its something he did it is not the the team files so blueNgold don't work on that roster i sent to you
because its pointless i have to talk to inbar and see if he can research it and find out if there is anything he
did in reditor to make this happen

Edit i loaded the team files on my goodOlDays roster and the did not crash so this mean my suspicions
were correct
