The custom relative camera is shite. Better off with the custom fixed camera for specific angles that you want, imo.

Damn, grin. How long did it take you to pull those moves? I'm at this stage where I have trouble beating any team even at the easiest mode.

Don't be fooled, most of those were (clutch) losses, especially the Suns ones, I only won like 1 out of 3 times against the Lakers.

Iverson said it best, practice (mode)!
Don't try to memorize all of the iso moves, try learning a few that you can always rely on.
Mine is cross, double cross, spin, behind the back, half-spin, step back, quick hesitation (moving), spin hop step.
You can use use the face up buttons if you're not yet comfortable using the left stick and left bumper (default configuration) for isomotion but imo the stick is easier if you want to link together iso moves, as seen in that video of Nash against Fisher and Bynum.

When you are familiar with your 'go to moves' in isomotion you can now concentrate learning your favorite players' effective iso moves. With Wade I find that his spin move and step back are quite effective in creating some space for him either to shoot or to drive. With LeBron, it doesn't matter what, you'll always get to the hole.

Yes, defense is lacking to say the least. There is no 'help-the-helper' in this game. Rotations at times are OK but ususally are either too late or never appear at all. CPU guards every player too tightly. When you have the ball, going around the defender is the same speed as going right at the defender(defying physics/body momentum).

In real life when you play defense you are taught to play "Ball, You, Man" but in this game it is only the man you are guarding.

Also there is no animation of simply 'putting a hand on your man' when defenders are playing away from the ball. Every player in the NBA does this especially within 15 feet. This is why pick-and-rolls are a super easy 2 points/backdoor buckets work at will. No resistance is offered when off ball players goes to the rim. Lead pass in this game is too accurate and fast which is totally unrealistic.

Lots of problems with this game defensively. Hopefully with Mike Wang back defense is the top priority.
