my dynasty work fine
but when i copy Kram's new intro player ( for non wide screen- my screen is 1024x768 )
it crashed :|

Alright, here's what I've worked out.

Going through the first couple of packs I've noticed that there are a lot of files that don't need to be there, namely original game files. Taking them out, the total size of the mod is about 200 MB fewer though those two packs are still a bit larger than I'd consider ideal. So, following the removal of those files, I've gone and split up those packs into 14 parts of differing size, grouping common files together as such:

Music (194 MB)
Backgrounds (84.7 MB)
Coaches (2.57 MB)
Courts (87.9 MB)
Faces (123 MB)
Jerseys (137 MB)
Logos (18.8 MB)
Main Game Folder Updates - aiact, sim engine update, etc (220 kB)
Miscellaneous Art Updates including the championship trophy, etc (706 kB)
Body Model Updates (1.24 MB)
Updated Intros (64.1 MB)
Portraits (25.4 MB)
Roster (551 kB)
Shoes (41.8 MB)

With this method, I could create a TUP 10 section in the Downloads section and add each to the database, noting that each part needs to be downloaded for TUP 10 to work properly and for the user to get the full effect. Further updates/add-ons could be added to the existing archives as necessary or uploaded as separate downloads which would then be added to the TUP 10 section. If you wanted to go this way I've got those packs ready to upload and add.

The other option would simply be to split the mod up into separate packs of no more than around 150-200 MB each. Once again, I'd recommend leaving out any files that don't actually need to be included in the mod (ie anything that isn't an updated file) to cut down on the total size and number of packs.

minhmohp, use wide screen res.(1024x768 is 16:9 not 4:3)
Non wide is for these res(800x600,1280x1024,1400x1024)

Andrew, i really like the 1st version.is more organised and i believe if any other mombers have no intention, i would say we go for it.
In these packs the files not needed are deleted?
Either yes or no,i would suggest the 1st option just because the detailed seperation making it more easy to install

Delete overlays~score.big and replace with TUP's one.

Could you please provide me with that alternate version of overlays~score.big? I'll add it to the appropriate pack before I upload it.

Hi guys, i just checked the new two intro videos, both are great and yes, both make the game crash. Maybe it's all about the size of the videos? (just an idea).

I also was going to try the overlays-score.big idea...but i realized that, in fact, i'm already using the TUP's one 'cause i overwrote the full dir.

I also had problems when i tried to play Lakers vs OKC, but not at Disnasty Mode, it's weird.

Great job, by the way, guys...as the intro says, "It's amazing" ;)

So...let me get this straight....it's the scoreboard that's causing the player intro crashes?
what a shame...i really liked it :(
btw i made a new Drake - Forever for the game as the original was low pitched . anyone want me to upload it? (If it's in the boundaries of the rules)

About the intros.
Pressing ESC just before the end won't crash the game,so until fixed it's not a big deal

Thanks so much for your time, George7...in fact, what you explained me is what i've already done, at least i think so, 'cause the file i have at the game's SGSM folder, and the one at the TUP10 release look both the same one. I will do again, but again, thanks so much for your time and the mod ;)

uhm, Andrew the first option is a great idea,
but maybe u should hold off on the upload since George7 and i are working on a sgsm with less bugs

...in this version i can remove the unnecessary files, maybe u can give me a list of what u came up with so i can use it as a checklist to make sure i dont miss anything?
or maybe u'll just clean it up again?

whichever is easiest/less work for u

mysteriousunkown please PM me the uniforms as well...i made some changes to the uniforms file names and the dbf to update things like the uniforms made in the player edit. just want to make sure they all match up...

plus George7 and i can add them to the fixed sgsm rather than an add-on

After i finished one season in Dynasty mode and start training camp, cpu start simulate some games and i wait 10 games after this i press stop simulation, doesn't work and after 5 games Don't send. What is the problem? Sorry for my english.

it may be a pet-peeve of mine or something...but i hate it when people say the same bug multiple times.... :evil:

since i am a patcher for this MOD, i read EVERYONE's post to find any bugs or problems they have...and there is nothing i hate more than wasting my time reading 5 post of a problem that someone else already posted up....

please if u have a bug, READ THE THREAD....maybe there is a fix already....if so...follow directions.....if not....trust that i already read it and are working on it

I think what he meant was that after the staff hiring in Season 2, instead of the same old training camp, the CPU went directly to simulating the regular-season games while the calendar remained at Training Camp. The simulation continued even though the Stop Simulation button was pressed.

I also experienced the same problem. I tried to intervene the simulation then quit but the game crashed.

I hope you get what I'm saying :D
