Given the good reviews, I gave the demo a shot (PC), and I couldn't take it more than 5 minutes. Horrible, horrible controls...And way too arcadish for my taste, but I can undertsand why some people would have fun with it.
To be honest, I only played about 20 minutes or so, but it's an ok game. Maybe more than that. Control wasn't too bad, while camera was bad. Graphic has improved a lol and my pc can't play at the best setting, had to play w/o maxed anti alis.
If you're expecting something like GTA, this'll not be satisfying, but this has its own fun imo.

I'm back to Warcraft III The Frozen Throne. I've been playing this for 7 years now every 5-6 month and it's always fun for some time. Really the best game I know.

got BF:BC2 for 20 bucks yesterday with that PAX deal, so I'll be playing that
MAG got a lot of play over the weekend due to the new DLC and double XP weekend
Halo/Rockband still getting regular play.....
aaaaaaaaaaand 2k

Mass Effect 2 here. I'm choosing the renegade path as much as possible.

Picked up Jet Set Radio Future. I beat it seven years ago and loved it, and now I'm trying to re-live some of the great times I've had. (looks good in HD on a 50" TV)

Im waiting on them to re-release it and Jet Grind Radio on XBL....love those fucking games. Wish Dreamcast games were easier to get...
Got Lego Batman last night: was in desperate need of a new game. Would've preferred arkham asylum but it cost about 40 dollars more.

I have Jet Grind Radio but its a lot harder and I didn't get that far. JSRF is super addicting though. Brings me back to that wonderful Summer of '03. Stayed up until two in the morning beating the first 3 chapters.

Same here, with Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening. I'm kinda halfway with my second playthrough in ME2. I will try to get everyone killed.
The only way I think is to not do their loyalty quests.

I heard that you can start doing a bunch of side missions after they get kidnapped and they will all die, instead of going straight through the omega-4 relay. Not sure since I haven't gotten that far.
Fri Apr 02, 2010 11:53 pm
I am disappointed on the first playthrough though, when the Ilusive Man gave another set of dossiers for party members. I thought you can go straight to the Omega-4 relay after the first set of dossiers.

I just beat the single player campaign for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on PC when I should have been doing a lot of homework. Man I'm a dumbass. Gave the online portion a go and I got raped horribly. 90% of the time I didn't even know where my opponent was.

Guillaume wrote:Far Cry was a cool ass game but it certainly was one of the hardest I've ever played, regardless of the difficulty level. I only managed to finish it once a mod to add a quicksave feature was released. It was fucking impossible before that.
Agree with the difficulty. The game somewhat gives you two options to fulfill your objective - follow the most obvious but hard as fuck littered with enemies path or follow the safest path but be prepared to have the patience of a fucking sniper as the safest path can eat a lot of your time. The lack of quicksaves isn't a problem for me as I'm used to playing that way, saving only on particular locations, even way back old FPS such as Half-Life.
I don't know how far I've progressed into the game but I sure am intent on finishing it now because after I finish this shite next up is either Tales of Monkey Island, Bioshock, or Mass Effect (and get on to the next ones immediately).

Make sure to join a squad (spawn on them!) and use Q to spot enemies while you have your ironsights over them.
Mon Apr 05, 2010 8:40 pm
will, will you guys be my friend on BF:BF2? Very lonely.....
JaoSming on there as well, started a NLSC clan for fun
Using Q to spot the enemies also gives you points, which never hurts, and it always helps your teammates so I would def recommend that.

Was it worth it Mofo? I don't play online but I was planning to wait til the game drops in price and get it for the singleplayer campaign, since it's apparently better than expected...
How long did it take you to complete it?
I don't know how far I've progressed into the game
I remember always expecting the end to be near, and I would still have to spend hours trying not to get slashed by the fucking mutants. That game just seemed endless

Still feeling the same way here.

Bought Bioshock 2 used on PC, pretty good so far but the initial awe from Rapture is a little gone, and mostly my same complaints with #1 remain with this one: pretty linear, full of low-res textures due to being a port, and still with unexcusable glitches, like the messed up POV and mouse acceleration, and other visual bugs.

I've dusted off an old classic and added Lemmings to the rotation, owing to
this add-on which adds all the levels that were cut from the Windows version. Ah, memories...except this time around, a solution to every level is available on YouTube.

Just finished my 2nd playthrough of Mass Effect 2, as a renegade chick this time. Very cool stuff, really can't wait to use my 2 saved game files for Mass Effect 3.

I got a new PC, so I'm playing a lot of games now:
PES 10
FIFA 10
NBA 2K10
GTA 4
Batman AA
UT3
Resident Evil 5
FM10
...and some Playstation 2 games. I'm at the last boss in God of War, I'll be starting GoW2 soon.

Ahhh, Lemmings. I remember playing this game when I was little. Something similar to this was
Goblinz, was it? I didn't really like these kind of games back then since I was too young, but I sure am tempted to play them again now.

Because you were stupid when you were young. There, I said it.

I never played Goblinz but from the looks of it the concept was a little different, though perhaps they took some of their cues from Lemmings.

Just finished Bioshock 2, and although I wasn't convinced at first, I gotta say that I liked it more than the 1st one. My beef with it is still the ugly ass textures all around, the fucked up FOV and the repetitive gameplay, but I have to give my kudos to 2K for the compelling story, the phenomenal art design, the highly appropriate music and the great moments of tension and drama. It almost felt like a chore having to finish the first Bioshock but this one really got me immersed in the story all along.

Just got Resistance 2, pretty fun
