I think it's legit. Saw the same thing in reputable gaming store. It was categorized under EA games along with 2K10. The store maybe legit but it's not knowledgeable.

It was probably released initially in Singapore around the same time 2K10 came out. Maybe made by a 2K Sports Asia (China) partner.

It apparently doesn't work with the previous version according to a post in a pinoy PC forum since the previous PC versions sold here are international/euro versions (or at least my copy is one).

The Celtics green uniform just looks odd in a yellow/gold background.

I have seen that as well, while browsing a gaming store. It was pretty cheap and was tempted to buy one, but thought to myself that it might only be multiplayer because of the name.

And here we were campaining for NBA Live to return to the PC.
