Very nice dunk... Came down very hard, would've hurt

Seems like Joel wants to do a 'Wade' (doing a flashy play then being down on the floor after for no apparent reason).

J O'neal is giving Dwight a hard time inside, but still losing at the moment. Can't believe J Williams is doing this much damage to former team. I'm now hoping he never came back... :cheeky:

What an off night by Wade so far. Even missed wide open dunk atempt.

^Update: Miami beat Magic by the skin of their teeth, thanks to Beasley. (Y)

Re: Miami Heat Thread

you know what's funny?

J williams almost won them a game but ended up costing them a game. It almost seemed like he had a grudge against his old team, playing so frigging well. But maybe he came to his senses at free throw line at the end that we're the good guys.

lol Miami Heat the good guys. Next to the Lakers, I would consider them to be the most villainous team in the NBA, save for perhaps the Lakers or Spurs.

Losing 6 of its last 9 games... the quote below sums it up nice for the Heat.
It was yet another example of how Miami lives and dies with Wade.

It's been painful to watch Heat playing lately. Loss against BOS is somewhat justifiable since they're clearly a better team, but the loss before that against WAS shouldn't happen no more if we really want to stay above 0.500

Ok. A loss against Denver was a predictable one, so that's fine. One more loss to come against Lakers and then we might get a win or not on the next one. Overall, it'd be realy awesome if we end up 2-2 on this 4 game crazy road trip to West.

I dunno about that; they managed to beat the Blazers but I suppose partly because some of the key Blazer players were injured. I say it'll be unpredictable with the Heat.

That missed free throw is going to haunt Dwyane Wade for at least 24 hours. Kobe broke their hearts on that one.

There were too many questionable calls and non calls in this game. A few more reasons to hate Kobe and Lakers have been presented in this game.

You can't complain about bad calls when its the Heat. D-Wade is the biggest flopper in NBA history. I wish that fucking douchebag would just play basketball. Wade is even dirtier than Bad Porn imo

Re: Miami Heat Thread

I wouldn't go that far, but Wade does get his fair share of calls.

 Dunno what you are talking about.

Andrew's right. He does get his share of calls as he's a superstar, but not to that extent.

wow... home game against memphis, yet we lost by a blowout.

Too disappointed. We don't look like a team that can stay above 500 right now, even with healthy o'neal, beasley that is...

No, no one quite anticipated the Hawks being this good, or, for that matter, the 76ers, Wizards, Bulls and Raptors this bad.

Yet stuck in the middle apparently will remain the Heat's anthem for another season.

5th seed again would be not too shabby as long as we're moving in the right direction with the future. But to truly seperate from those bad teams to become a top tier team, a change is inevitable, that's for sure. For now, with James Jones and JO's expiring contracts, I'm just hoping 5th seed or better is what we end up with, at the end of this season.

3 straight losses. What makes the matter worse is that Bobcats came back from 19 points deficit and the loss before this was season worst 30 points defeat against the Spurs. Worst of all is Beasley's new hair is just phony as hell. I'm starting to grow doubts now. If we can't secure a win at home against teams like Bobcats(1-14 on road), we won't get nowhere.

Such a news tends to go unonoticed, but it's good that some players like Wade and retired Heat Zo actually do care and are willing to help out those in great needs. Hope to see others joining as well.

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miam ... 2893.story

With retired NBA star Alonzo Mourning calling the initial wave of support "overwhelming," the Haitian earthquake relief fund he co-founded with Heat star Dwyane Wade announced Monday that its pledge total has already surpassed $800,000.

Wade's donation was a one-game salary, about $175,000, while Mourning, LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Chris Paul each pledged $100,000, fund officials said.

Another blowout loss against sub 500 team. Let's see how low we fall. Might as well join Nets' class.

Re: Miami Heat Thread

Ok. I wanted some changes to the team, but maybe Riley is right, no move is the best move the Heat made. We kept Beasley and Wright who have trendous upside in potential and probably we'll be able to add a few more key pieces this offseason along with Wade. Boozer and Amare trade would have been fun one for us, but Boozer might be heading to Miami this offseason anyways, so potential line is O'neal, Boozer, Beasley, Wade, Chalmers or Bosh, Boozer, Beasley, Wade, Chalmers.
