Black away socks for all

How can I change the appearance.dbf file so that every player has black socks (and thus black accesories - I don't mind) for away games??? I remember bigh0rt once did this once via .dbf editing but I don't know how...

I was under the impression that a value of 1 was used for black socks but if 0 works then certainly go with it.

Sorry Andrew, you 're right, "1" is the correct value for black socks - but my aim is the away team only to wear black socks!!!
If I edit the field with a "1" value, this results in BOTH home and away teams to wear black socks

Oops, that's what I was doing wrong Andrew, I was editing both home and away jerseys in the dbf

That would explain it. So long as you stick to the entries for JERSEYTYPE 1, it should work the way you want.

im on the track now. How can i change the color of the socks to black? What's this JerseyTYPE1?

Note that this will not work in NBA Live 08. As I explained in my PM, NBA Live 08 does not recognise the values for black socks. This method will only work up until NBA Live 07.

JERSEYTYPE is a field in teamgear.dbf. For more information on the dbf files, please see the DBF Editing Guides over on the main site. For instructions on changing the sock colour to black - once again note that you cannot do this in NBA Live 08 - please read this very thread, where the necessary edits are explained. These guides are in place so we don't have to type up the information every time someone asks it.
