NBA.com wrote:Warriors Get Third Straight Win, Hurt Mavs' Playoff Hopes
April 1, 2010 - Golden State sure does have the Mavericks' number. The red-hot Warriors improved their playoff position and all but killed Dallas's playoff hopes with a 111-103 win. The Warriors started out the game strong, but the Mavs were competitive in the second and third quarters, even leading at some points. However, a fourth quarter Golden State run put them away. Dirk Nowitzki had 39 points in the loss. Ricky Rubio returned from injury to have a very good game off the bench.

April 3, 2010 - A home game against the bottom-feeder Suns should have been an easy win, right? For the first quarter, it looked like it, with the Warriors scoring at will. The Suns stepped it up in the second quarter, but still trailed by seven at the half. They then proceeded to play their best defensive quarter of the season, limiting Golden State to 19 points and taking the lead in the process. On fire in the fourth, the Suns had all the momentum and defeated Golden State 119-107. Anthony Morrow had a career high 35 points in the loss.

The conference rival Houston Rockets got 32 points from offseason addition Chris Bosh, as they cruised to a 24 point blowout victory. Golden State never had a chance, as the Rockets won every quarter, and dominated on all facets of the stat line. Anthony Morrow followed up his career high 35 with a team high 24.

In his latest brilliant performance, the man affectionately known as "Meal Ticket" had 25 points, 17 boards and 10 assists as his team defeated the Hornets 114-108. The Hornets fell behind early, but managed to stay in the game, tying Golden State in the second and third quarters. They could never pull away however, and they succumbed to the playoff bound Warriors.

April 10, 2010 - The Warriors' hopes of a top four seed took a hit when the visiting San Antonio Spurs blew them out. Despite 20 points in 16 minutes from Salim Stoudamire, the league's highest scoring team was shut down by one of the lowest. The Warriors looked in control, taking an early double digit lead, but the Spurs came back in the second, then took the lead in the third. San Antonio won the fourth quarter 26-16 to finish off the home team.

April 13, 2010 - The Warriors better hope they don't play the Spurs in the first round. The Spurs defeated Golden State for the second time in four days, handing them their fourth straight loss, and making a statement in a potential first round playoff preview. After trailing most of the first half, the Spurs took control in the third, then finished off the home team in the fourth. Despite Golden State dictating the tempo, and Stephen Jackson making his return from injury (10 points, 5 rebounds, 22 minutes), the Spurs prevailed by going +13 on the boards. The Warriors lost their third straight, and their final game against the Clippers will decide whether they get the 8th seed and a series against the Lakers, or the 5th and a series against the Kings.

April 15, 2010 - There was a great deal at stake in the season finale with the Clippers and Warriors. If the Clippers won, they would have a four team tie for the 5-8 seeds, with LA taking 6th, the Warriors 8th, and the Nuggets and Rockets taking 5th and 7th respectively. Golden State was aiming for the 5th seed, which would push the Clippers to the 8th seed and a Staples series with the Lakers. After the Clippers had control for the first three quarters of the game, Anthony Randolph turned it on, while Stephen Jackson made his presence felt, as the Warriors made a huge fourth quarter comeback to seal the win. The 45-37 Clippers will face the top seeded 61-21 Lakers in the first round, while the 47-35 Warriors will fact the fourth place 48-34 Kings in the first round.
