Well since I've effectively shifted gears away from Killzone 2 may as well update this

2k10
MAG
The Sims 3 (if I can get it to properly save my games dammit)
Various PS2 basketball games. Just exhibitions but have played MM03/04, Live03/04, and Street 1/2 a lot in the past week.
Opinions are my own.

Stupid Gamefly sent me Bayonetta (which is garbage) instead of Bioshock 2. I loved the first so much (so System Shock 2 had deeper gameplay and was "superior" or whatever, I don't give a shit) that I'm renting it from Hollywood video tomorrow.

It probably won't change much, but for those like me and many more who are pissed that the upcoming Alan Wake (from Remedy, the creators of Max Payne) will not have a PC version. please go ahead and sign this petition . There are about 15000 signatures right now I think.

I'm playing Vancouver 2010 which I borrowed from my friend who doesn't really like it.

It's an ok game, but without story, I am likely to put in only a couple hours into it, and that's about it.

Been playing some Bioshock 2 (finally got it from Gamefly!) Aside of the lack of an Autosave feature, its been a blast. Took longer to get into than the first one, and while it probably isn't quite as complexing, its still a very enjoyable romp. The graphics are just astounding.

About halfway through, it has gotten a little easy. Might have to bump it up to hard with my constantly full wallet, and maxed out ammo, health and EVE reserves.

Just beat Bioshock 2. It was a good game, but a huge disappointment. The first one was one of my favorites of all time, and featured my favorite video game moment ever.

This one had improved gameplay and stellar graphics, but it was shorter, easier and had a mediocre story. Online is decent, but gets old fast. Would have rather seen the developers tack on a level or two and work on making the story more interesting. Unlike the first one however, the final levels were the best, and not the worst...

Probably go back to 2K10 next, and when I get some MS points, download the new add-on for RE5.

I picked up Turok for PC since it was cheap and couldn't pass up on killing some dinosaurs. After 1 hour of playing it, I really don't like the game. Nothing great. Storyline's plain, gameplay is plain, and so is the graphics and animations.

DOTA and Chess in Windows have been wasting my time recently.

Rockband Network came out, so, even more Rockband is being played. Still playing MAG...

but the Blur beta started yesterday on the 360, and damn, that is a fun Mario Kart type of racing game but with real cars.

Playing the first God of War. In light of the third one coming out, I picked up the second cheap, but since I never beat the first, I decided to pick it up again. After two hours and much cursing, I defeated the minotaur boss and now I'm off to finish what I started like five years ago.

I played a bit of Civilization 4 + addons lately. I don't know if there's anyone like me who seems to like a game that is definitely labeled as being boring, but it's really cool to play and tough to stop once you started. Other than that I'm looking to get some cheap games via Ebay right now, Fight night round 4 for example for ps3. I'd love to get Tekken but I just feel like 70 Euros are too much for me to invest in a vid game right now.

Doing a 2nd playthrough in Mass Effect 2 as a badass bitch, and also playing STALKER: Call of Pripyat. That one started out a little weak but it gets awesome pretty fast, like its 2 predecessors.

After several more times being stuck, I managed to overcome many trials and tribulations to get to the final boss in God Of War. Even though I'm playing on Medium, the game has been one of the most difficult I have ever played. (there was this one part where I had to climb up this tall tower with rotating saw blades... oh my God)

After a frustrating hour and a half of attempts, I am stumped on the final boss. I killed his first form, but now I have to fight a bunch of clones of myself and protect my family (long story) and its excruciatingly difficult. Apparently I missed out on an opportunity to get extra health and mana by putting some muse keys somewhere, but I doubt I'm that screwed. Can't wait to open my copy of the second game if/when I finish this.

Really? The God of War games are incredibly easy for the genre outside of the trials.

Everyone, even the developers admit that part was screwed up, they never play-tested it properly due to deadlines.

You should be way overpowered by the time you fight the final boss. So you can just trigger Rage of the Gods with Poseidon's magic which will build up RotG again which you trigger a second time and kill him in half a second.

Poseidon's magic is the one to use to clear out lots of people. Just remember to mash it so you keep doing extra damage.

God of War II is easier but it's so much more epic. It has none of the horrific bad design parts like the archers and the block early on or Hades's spinning blades.
