You're out, Parker :D Starting lineup, here I come!

Yes, the Parker saga is finally out of the Big Apple, now it's time for you to repay the fans' trust in you (Y)

Fuck virtual Kevin Pritchard

Well, Turkoglu never worked out with Cleveland (stuck on the bench behind Lebron, JJ Hickson...etc and Oden's rating went all the way down cause of chemistry problems (he doesnt like the lack of PT, but he's averaging 4.4 fouls per game...cant blame anybody else for that)

Portland needs a shot in the arm and they get an upgrade at the 3 with Turkoglu here

Mark. wrote:Massive trade for the Cavs, no excuses now Lebaby!!

Id say that Webster would possibly work better in a team dominated by the King that Hedo would.

Yeah, Webster may be the Cavs' new starting 2 guard over the undersized and trouble-filled Delonte West

Chapter 8

The Nets have been playing terrible basketball in the last 4 games since Ray Allen went down with a torn achilles, only scrapping a 99-94 win over the Trailblazers behind Yao's dominating performace and losing the other 3 by large margins. Team morale was down and despite wanting to send a message to the Clippers, whom they are playing today, as well as get a win as a get-well present to Allen (who is having surgery today), it was much of the same, half-assed effort basketball for much of the first half....

"Whats wrong kid? You can't do nothin against me can you?" said Baron Davis, who has been taunting the Nets' Leo Lai for much of the game "We've got that big lump of yours locked down and your precious Ray Ray ain't here to save you."
Davis saw an opening and made a dish to Eric Gordon, who easily layed it in with a reverse layup
"See that? you bitches can't do nothing" continued Davis as he went over to guard Lai "speaking of which, isn't Allen doing his surgery today? i hope he fails, just like your team...."
Davis could not finish his sentence as Lai shoved him forcefully, prompting the players, coaches, and the officials to come over and separate them
"DOUBLE TECHNICAL, DAVIS. LAI!" screamed Joey Crawford "NONE OF THIS SHIT IN MY GAME, WE CLEAR?"
Lai was sent to the bench for the remainder 2:03 of the first half.

Back in the locker room, the atmosphere was tense. They were down by 14 points, which is a possible reach, but from the way everybody is acting, the lead might as well be 50. Everyone was out of it, especially Lai, who was still very much pissed off at Davis' trash talking.
"Just play hard, and fight for the ball on each possession" Scott Skiles was doing his usual half time talk "We are only down by 14, with good defense we could....LEO! ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING!?"
Skiles was fuming when an unexpected figure came into the room on crutches. The person went over to the coach and said something, Skiles nodded before continuing with the game plan for the second half while the guy went over to Lai and pulled him away.
"Hey man, what was that all about"
"Just fucking leave me alon...Ray? What are you doing here? I thought you were gonna be doing your surgery today?"
"Yeah, it's in about an hour later, so i figured i'll come watch the first half before going off. I am disappointed though"
"Man, that Baron Davis, he..." argued Lai before being interrupted
"No excuses, you are better then that and you know it." replied Allen "Just go out there and play your game, the team needs you. I expect you guys to have a good second half"
Allen walked away, leaving Lai standing there pounding his words...

"Lai, on the pull up....AND HE DRILLS IT AGAIN, HE IS UNSTOPPABLE!" said the announcer "That makes it 27 after the half time break! and 31 for the game! The Nets are on a 29-10 run!"

Lai ended up scoring a total of 40 points and dished off 7 assists alongside 4 rebounds and 2 steals, while leading the Nets to a 117-84 come-back/blowout victory over the Los Angeles Clippers, much to the dismay of Baron Davis, who ended up with just 15 points and 9 assists.

Ray Allen had a successful surgery, and when he heard of the win, he was all smiles.
"That kid might just be able to help me get my second ring" thought Allen before drifting off to sleep.

Will Sit was not happy and it showed. His Wolves has been on a slump and aside from Danilo Gallinari, Al Jefferson and Hasheem Thabeet, everyone of his teammates were utterly useless.

"Hello there Mr Sit, what do you need help with?" asked the secretary of the Wolves' front office
"I need a meeting with our General Manager"
"Okay, let me see....Mr Kahn is free....in 2 days, could you come ba..."began the secretary before Sit interrupted "NO I CANNOT WAIT, TELL HIM HIS FRANCHISE PLAYER WANTS A FUCKING MEETING"
The secretary broke down and began to cry but Sit felt no sympathy for her, he was pissed and he wants something done.
"Will Sit, what might you be yelling around here for? I don't recall a meeting scheduled with you" stated David Khan, who came out of his office at the noise created by Sit
"Well, here's news to you" answered Sit coolly "You have one now"
Khan raised his eyebrows but did not question further, he sensed that something is wrong with his rookie and motioned for him to go inside his office "Come on in then" said Khan before making an apologetic gesture towards his secretary.

"So..what's this about Will? What are you so upset about"
"This team sucks, you need to do your god damn job"
"....I know losses are hard to take but the team needs time to improv.."
"TIME? WE'VE HAD 2 FUCKING MONTHS ALREADY" yelled Sit "FUCKING MAKE A MOVE ALREADY"
"I don't appreciate you screaming here Sit, if you continue this the only move i am going to make is to send you home" answered Khan "now, what kind of a move do you desire, or think would help our situation"
"Trade Foye" stated Sit "He's bloody useless, I don't know why he's a fucking starter for us"
"Well, who do you think we could trade him for" asked Khan, intrigued by the knowledge of the team's needs by his young rookie, as he was also looking into trades for Randy Foye "Any suggestions?"
"I want an upgrade at the wings, preferably a veteran who can still play, see if you can get someone wild and tough as well, someone like...Ron Artest?"
"I can try but i doubt it'll happen, i will look into other possible deals though"
"Just make sure you trade Foye's ass out of Minnesota" said Sit before he stood up and left the room

Jackson, Marbury traded to Minnesota
January 1st, 2011

Image
The Golden State Warriors have acquired guard Randy Foye and center Patrick O'Bryant
from the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for forward Stephen Jackson and guard
Stephon Marbury, the team announced this morning.

Jackson has been asking for a trade for a month now, largely due to the Warriors' losing
situation, and sources has been having wind of the Warriors offering Marbury around the
league for quite some time now. This trade is obviously a great new years present to the
both of them.

"Y'all know me. I just want to win," Jackson said. "That's always been my attitude and
anytime winning is not a priority or not the main idea on everybody's mind, it bothers
me. All my frustration since I've been in the league comes from not winning.

"The team made it clear that I am not part of their plans," said Marbury "I'm stuck on
the bench behind these kids and I just want to play basketball. I welcome this trade"

Billups out for 1-2 weeks with Separated Shoulder
January 15th 2011

Image
Nets' guard Chauncey Billups will miss approximately 2 weeks with a separated
left shoulder.

The veteran guard injured his shoulder in yesterday night's match against the
Utah Jazz, after a collusion with Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko 24 minutes into
the game, Billups went down and immediately grabbed hold of his left shoulder,
which was lying at an awkward position.

This is the second injury Billups has suffered this season, with the former one
being back in late October when he missed 2 games with a bruised knee. This
should be of concern to the Nets as the former finals MVP is already at the age
of 34.

Billups is averaging 14.1 points and 6.5 assists per game over 36 games played
so far this season.

No better mentor for Sit then Starbury. He already looks like Marbury in the making.
