I'd say DOTA by far is the best tower defense game I've played. 150 well balanced heroes and addictive nature of this game will just keep you up at nights.

Flash is a pos technology that needs an overhaul. It sucks a ton of resources and battery life would be terrible if it was included. I think Adobe's working on improving it, but I personally wouldn't mind if they did without. The web is so much better with html5/css3/Javascript. As for video, H.264/Ogg is vastly better than Flash. YouTube uses H.264 when Flash isn't available.
