Just had a look ... man D-Wade went to the line 16 times per game and had two games with 21 and 25 freethrow attempts respectively.
That's really a bit too obvious, since 20+ freethrows are hard to get.
It's like 4 years since these finals but I'm pretty angered right now. ^^

What are you talking about? He's started every single game at center.
If the coaches were to vote for him for all star, will they be allowed to vote for him as a C?

The coaches can vote a player as any position. They could vote Kaman as a guard if they wanted to.

He's spent a fair amount of his career at centre and started at centre in Kaman's place when he was injured last season but Kaman has been listed as the regular starter at centre this season.

T-Mac will probably start at pg for the West over Nash.

Quite likely, given the current fan voting. Of course, Paul overtook McGrady by the final returns last year so perhaps he won't be voted in after all. Iverson, on the other hand, will probably make it.

When looking at the team standings on NBA.com, what does GB stand for and what does it mean? :?:

Games Behind. It's how many wins they are behind the team leading the division or conference or league or whatever the standings demonstrate.

Yeah that too perhaps but I also said it in relation to the position question (Kaman). T-Mac is hardly a pg so the West might start without a real pg.

That certainly clears things up, but Kaman's natural position is C I guess.

Google yields this:
http://www.nba.com/blazers/chat/randolp ... 22806.html

I had that nickname since I was youngster in 7th and 8th grade. I had a buddy who gave everyone nicknames one day, and mine just stuck.

If you are building a team to contend for a championship within the next 4 years, who do you choose as a starting center: David Lee or Chris Kaman?

Wrong thread for that kind of question. This is for factual questions, not debates that could sustain their own thread.

And you take Lee and play him at forward.

The all star teams don't differentiate between point guards and shooting guards, though. That's why that's the case, nothing to do with players getting in at positions they don't play.

Question: From today's "Elias Says", there is one statement I can't understand:

The Raptors held Danny Granger to eight points in a 117-102 victory over the Pacers. It was the second game of the month in which Granger failed to score in double-figures after going 56-for-56 for calendar year 2009.

What does that mean?

He scored in double figures (10+ points) for all 56 games in 2009, but the game against the Raptors was already his second time to miss the 10 point mark in January 2010.

What is the least amount of games it has taken for a team to be ruled out of playoff contention? Team wise, I'd assume it's that 76ers team that holds the worst record ever, 9-73.

It would have to be the 1973 Sixers or 1993 Mavericks, to be tied with the 2010 Nets probably.

Actually, it would be the 1999 Grizzlies. (Along with every other non-playoff team that year.) Since it took less than 50 games.

How many games did Vancouver won that lockout season?

That brings back so much memory. Those days Grizzlies were my favorite team ever. No matter how much they sucked, I always rooted for them and watched the game till the end. Blue, Greg, Cherokee, Mayberry, Chilcutt, Mack, Hurley... you name it, all played hard.
