Just watched ''The Number 23''.

Saw it recently too. I know it got panned by the critics but I thought it wasn't that bad at all. Probably felt like it was attempting to be too complex at times, but it sorta made sense why at the end.

Just saw The Kingdom, and I was expecting worse too. Nothing fantastic, but the action scenes at the end did keep me on the edge of my seat.

So recommending or not? I'm gonna go watch a movie this weekend, either Ninja Ass or 2012.

Exactly. I come out of the the cinema very disappointed.. for the last 45 minutes or so I just wanted it to finish.

I went and saw "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs" today lol, was actually very entertaining. Great movie for all ages. With Bill Hader and Andy Samberg as voice actors you can't go wrong.

I agree about funny people. Those last 45 minutes all seemed to be at that woman's house.

Yeah not impressed with it. Being an Australian though I did find Eric Bana's character to be very entertaining though, he was the highlight of the movie in my opinion especially when he was explaining our Aussie Rules Footy. Went something like "This little fucker passes it to that fucker. Oh I hate that big fucker over there" lol I cracked up

Ok... I watched a movie which currently is being advertised on this very forum in main screen, which is Public Enemy. Frankly I didn't really like it. Maybe I expected more from Depp and Bale.

I love me some depp and i was underwhelemed by the movie public enemies. There was not a single character i liked. I understand it was supposed to be a legend/biopic...but so much of it was illogical and didnt seem to make sense. I was worried when i saw michael mann involved and it proved to me i should trust when i worry about actors i like in movies with directors i despise (oddly enough combo of actors i like and director i like didnt add to me liking sin city but i digress). There wasnt enough character in that script for bale/depp to do much with I don't think.

I liked it. Best movie of 2009 for me. (I think I've watched two. This and Star Trek. So...)

It's not a gut buster though. And more similar to Office Space in tone than Idiocracy. Got more of a charm than constant funny. Especially the story arc.

I think everybody did a great job acting, Bateman kills it of course, and it's well written. I'd probably watch this as a show as there's a lot of characters to work with.

And if you've watched enough KOTH you'll identify Mike Judge's character immediately even if you never knew what he looked like.

I expected ZOMBIE movie but was far from it. But I enjoyed it while it lasted. Recommended if you like end of the human kind scientific horror type of movie.

Watched "The Box" with Cameron Diaz. She receives a box with a button on it and is presented with a deal where if she presses the button, she receives a million dollars but someone in the world that she does not know will die. Pretty good morality movie with some science fiction.
