True but you can tell it's a girl's drink when you're drinking a (matthew) cruiser. Vodka and coke could be a Jack and coke or Bundy and coke. thats the beauty of it lol. Either way, I'm happy. I got drunk tonight from drinking them all night for 5 bucks a pop. Thats a good night in my book.

why would you drink vodka and coke when rum and coke tastes better and in these parts is the same price and the same alcohol content?

Meh dunno about same price and alcohol content.. Costs $6.50 usually at a nightclub (or the one I go to), and around 5-6 dollars at a pub..

yall have strange pricing there: well drinks are well drinks...coke and a well whiskey, bourbon, rum, or vodka are all the same price. If you order brand name prices go up. For instance here a smirnoff and anything would run about 4 bucks. A grey goose and anything will run about 8-10 Vodka and Light rum are the same alcohol content and usually similar hangovers for me. To each his own but if you're gonna get vodka, mix it with something better than coke and it'll probably be the same price (grapefruit juice, cranberry juice, orange juice are all good options and keep you hydrated better than coke giving less of a hangover the next day)

Juts take shots of that vodka and it gets the job done faster, no need for high fructose corn syrup when getting wasted...

You do know he was referring to white rum (ala Bacardi) rather than dark rum (ala Bundy)?

ive had many a night with vodka...and yes coke. But that was due to nothing else available and i was too much of a lightweight to do shots. If you're at a bar? humor me and get an OJ/Cran vodka (if they're the same price). Your hangover will be less and you might be able to drink more of them (coke bubbles take a lot of extra space in your stomach liquor could be taking). At least all this is what i've experienced in my 5 years of studying drinking during and post college. Purely extracurricular of course.

This is what I've had with Vodka... OJ = Good, Raspberry Lemonade = Good, Portello = Terrible & Coke = My favorite.

So yeah I don't mind having the OJ with vodka (that's what I used to have a fair bit til my mate introduced me to coke), but yeah I prefer coke. You do have a point though about the coke filling me up quicker (cause of the bubbles), that's why I rarely drink beer because it only takes a few to get me bloated.

Nothing better than drinking during university lol I've just finished my first year and all I did was go out every wednesday night and get trashed.

Juices with vodka plz. The reason you aren't tasting the vodka is because, one your drink probably has little in it this being a bar, and two the carbonation of the soda is masking the "burn" of the vodka.

Vodka and Sprite was awesome for me.

The best would for me would still be OJ and Jim Beam (bourbon). Started drinking that mix when I was in the 4th grade from some left over Beam in the fridge since no one wanted to finish it. A glass of OJ and a tbsp. of Beam was the mixture, a glass or two a day.

Its not like Iam drunk like I've never been before, but I definitely had a bit too much this night. I'm a perfectionist, you won't see any typos, even if I'm drunk like hell, but I got a bit too much for sure. A whole lot of beer and some cocktails.

Right now I am drinking water as much as I can to make the best out of it. Haha, at least I found this thread.
