ok first of all...download
fshtool
http://free.grinster.net/public/fshtool-1.22b.zip

Then when you have your shoe...resize it to 3 versions. One 32x32...then 64 x 64..then 128x128 resolution.Name them to the same as in this screenshot. The 32x32 being 0000-0.BMP and so on

Image

after unzipping fshtool...create a file called index.txt and place this code in it.

FSHTool generated file -- be very careful when editing
X:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA Live 2003\bsho.fsh
FSH
SHPI 1 objects, tag G346
BUFSZ 43552
NOGLOBPAL
sh00 0000-%d.BMP
MBP+2 60 x2 128 128 {0 0 0}
ETXT 70 sh01%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00
TXT 6F 66 0
,MAX:DXT1|0,16|0,HIGH:DXT1|0,16|0,MED:DXT1|1,16|1,LOW:DXT1|2,16|2%00
!PAD 6 000000000000
#END

X is the name of the drive where your copy of nba live is installed

Then rename it to index.fsh as in the above jpeg....place it in the same folder as the 3 versions of the shoe.Double click the index.fsh and windows should ask you for a program to open it with.Search for the fshtool.exe and assign it to that. The new bsho.fsh file should be in your main nba live 2003 folder.

Yohance, I downloaded that prog and am trying to follow the steps you gave. The shoe im trying to import are your Tmacs that you posted in the other thread.

Anyways I copied the BMP and resized it using photoshop to the 3 sizes you mentioned. I made the Index.fsh like you said but when i tried to open it with fshtool it says unable to open 0000-2.BMP. I dont know what I did wrong but i cant get it to work properly.

If you think you know what the problem may be, can you post it here or IM me using AIM at HeLLoDJHJR. Thanks.

... the exact message i get is this
No alpha data file.
Expecting 1 objects, allocating 43552 bytes of memory
Adding 000-%d.BMP
Cannot open file '0000-2.BMP'

Unsuccessful termination. See README.TXT for more details.
Press Enter to exit.

use the EA Graphics Editor program with the import wizard to replace a current open image with a saved one.

importing psd files with ea graph is the way... Extract a bshoe and then using fshed extract it to bmp. then open with photoshop and make your shoe over the bmp. save as psd and then import with ea graph. No need for bmps.
