Modern Warfare 2 = my video game life right now

Pes 10, started a master league with Ajax on pro. It's hard as nails.
2K10, reached the playoffs and 3-1 against the nuggets.
Dow 2, occasionally playing multi but my fav army is the weakest so it's kind of masochistic.

It's either that or more ramblings in life.

Forgive me if I spammed your wall and you not seeing Pet Society or Friends for Sale updates. :P It's just that I'm excited going old-school with this kind of game.

NBA 2K9 is the frontrunner this time around with my dynasty in full swing. Borderlands, which I got today and spent a few hours on, comes in a close second. Pretty fun, but the lack of story or direction is keeping me from being immersed. Seems to be a poor man's Fallout 3. (Cue bevy of flames). Forza 3 has taken a backseat with me being bored with it. Played a couple Tekken 6 versus matches last night.

Now that PS3 patch was released for NBA 2k10, it is now not only playable but enjoyable. So I'll be splitting time between an Association in that & Manager Mode with Southampton in FIFA 10.

Post-Patch 2K10 = Great fun. Playing both Association (Blazers) and My Player (Pacers -_-)

Little bit of Fight Night Round 4, only with mates though, it's boring against the CPU.

And a bit of Guitar Hero here and there...

I am playing a time pass game which I like it. I had not bought any new games so I am playing New super mario games. Mario is simply a joy to play. It's the plumber in his most pure form, running left to right, growing big and throwing fireballs, jumping huge pits and exploring underground tunnels, Swimming, Floating, Finding hidden areas.

Haven't touched Borderlands in days for some reason. 2K9 has been taking all of my playing time. Not only with my association, but I also found a great set of sliders and now I'm making a roster update for Xbox 360, with Imp3rial's rookies.

Updating all of the rosters (some supposedly up-to-date rosters still have Flip Murray on the Hawks, etc.) and changing player ratings and ages for most players is what I'm doing. Only five teams in, but so far I'm getting realistic results with the teams I have done. (Bobcats can't score for shit, Hawks are very good) If anyone's interested, I'll upload it on 2K Share and you can see what I've done so far.

What sliders do you use? I think I just downloaded the most popular ones but it's made the game 100 times more enjoyable.

Bought a copy of Tony Hawk's Proving Ground for $10 and have started a new career file. Very addicting. Now I remember why I spent so much time on a Tony Hawk forum a few years ago. Also got NBA Street Homecourt and College Hoops 2K8 for $7 and $5 each but I haven't been in a basketball mood the past few days. I should also update my association soon.

Here we go :P

I can understand the lack of mood. I was going to start a 2k10 Association but none of the 30 teams appealed to me. Maybe that's why I did dynasty stories in the past, to keep interested.

Either way, FIFA '10 seems more interesting at the moment.

May have to download latest CH2k8 rosters & give them a whirl. Maybe play with Evan Turner or something.

Batman Arkham Asylum
Assassin's Creed 2
Soon to be playing GhostBusters and Modern Warfare 2. Although I heard MW2 has only a 6 hour single player campaign.

How is it? Looks good.

It is basically Assassin's Creed in Nazi-occupied Paris. Plus guns, explosives and cars. Climbing isn't as good but works well enough. A lot more polished than Mercenaries 2 was, especially, well, everything. AI seems quite a bit better. Graphics aren't as good as AC or other games, especially the LoD, but it looks good enough and the BW/Color mechanic makes up for it. Going into the Nazi held areas is significantly more undesirable without any color, with thunderstorms and with crows replacing all the normal birds. Voice acting is horrific. Missions have been nice and varied so far, stealth seems to work pretty well especially when disguised as a Nazi, and escaping on rooftops continues to be the best gameplay mechanic of the generation.

Batman Arkham Asylum. Been playing it for couple hours, but just ain't my type of game for some reason. Not much into movie games anyways. I will see if I will keep on playing or not, since I have NFS the shift to take care of.

Tekken 6. Trying to master one character or at least put some decent combos/jugglers.

Seen footages at YouTube when the character gets his disguise from a Nazi guard, a civilian caught him while switching wardrobes and just walked away. If this is like a Hitman-type of game, I'll give it a go.
