Well done thierry, your posts are not offensive to my eyes. That being said I can't really fault you for not finishing your dynasties, considering...

Jae's Weekly NLSC Stuff
Jae's Patching Thread
Jae's Atlanta Hawks Franchise
Jae's NLSC FM Story
Jae's NLSC Reality Show

And so on. The only thing I've ever finished here is a sentence.

For the one or two people who might remember it, I didn't include the Sig League because everyone suddenly pulled out before the play-offs so I take no blame :x

4000 of those are from dynasty sections

I refuse to congratulate you until you finish at least one story.
On the plus side, those 1000 posts outside the dynasty sections aren't bad al all.

Re: The Milestone Thread

Postby Lamrock on Sat Nov 07, 2009 3:34 pm

Just realized I cracked the 4k mark tonight. Doesn't seem like that long since I got 3,000, so I'll keep this short. Maybe I'll do something heartfelt after I hit the 5K mark as it would be around my fifth anniversary. (next 4th of July... you know I remember when I joined. I was 12, and saw Batman Begins that day. I was really into X's Bobcats dynasty (which still holds up as arguably the best dynasty ever in my book, but I think I say that every time I post here. Anyway I had a bad headache that day, and it was the last time I went and saw the fireworks from the Queen Anne lookout point. My mom got a parking ticket too that day. Some days I really remember in their entirety, and that was one of them. Great day aside of the headache. I miss being 12... I also had a Nuggets dynasty, but I never posted in on NLSC. I did do the sim, intervene, play thing that Sit did though. I remember trading Andre Miller and some scrub for Michael Redd and going 46-12 with those Nuggets and winning the title. Good times. No idea why I didn't keep that save. Kenyon Martin made the dunk contest but for some reason defending 3 point champ Vashon Lenard didn't make the shootout in my game. Speaking of which, I remember watching all-star saturday from a hotel in Portland; watching Q-Rich with the upset victory and Nash winning the skillz challenge, which I didn't even know existed. Then Birdman with all those attempts and J-Smoove finally winning with the Nique jersey. Great night. Simpsons sucked though. Gay marriage episode was so lame. Does anybody else remember some days extremely vividly? Those 2 days were among the best of 2005. Being young was great.) Here are some short shoutouts though: Sit, The X, Andrew, Benji, the dynasty people, and all the people I don't remember off the top of my head. (Its no offense, I know there are dozens of you who I wouldn't have been able to spam up to this lofty total without. You know, Weezer's Red album wasn't that bad. Some catchy tracks there. Might just be because it embodies freshman year for me. Then again, I was actually pretty depressed that Spring. It was overcast every fucking day that Spring. Seattle is fucking lame sometimes. Beats a small town though. Wish we still had a basketball team. Fucking Clay Bennett. Then in my association they go and get Millsap, and will probably help keep me out of the playoffs. Motherfuckers. I remember there was some member from Oklahoma who was nice. Had a decent Grizzlies dynasty too. Whatever happened to him...?)

As probably the most senior member of the NLSC, I revoke the Lamrock Milestone on account of no paragraphs.

I'll trade you the entire state of Michigan for Seattle. I love overcast, rain and mild temperatures.

It makes everyone else a little more sensible I find. See custom title.

Congrats. I remember that thanks to you I stopped putting those spam posts to every dynasty thread, like this:
Good luck.

Good luck.

Good luck.

Good luck. Nice start.

So to know, you've actually made an influence on somebody here.

My belated congratulations as well, keep up the good work as it's always nice to see new members making quality contributions. :)

Just noticed that I ticked over to 48,000. That went by reasonably fast.
