Sorry to hear it, Doobie. Reminds me a lot of my friend who took his life last year, though he didn't have a kid. He too was one of the last people you'd expect to do that but I guess you never know what's going on in someone's head.

That's really sad Doobie. :( It's never worth it to go the extreme of taking your own life. There's always ways around the bad parts of life. My condolences man.

Reason I came into the thread: Got a 100% Constitutions exam in 5 hours and not really understanding certain concepts. :(

I don't understand why my school makes us do 3 days of year 11 immediately after finishing year 10, then letting us off on an 8 week break... Just let us be done with school already! :(

That's weird. In NSW, Year 12 essentially picks up in the fourth term of Year 11 but post-exams Year 10 was pretty much a bludge for us.

Yeah I know that once the Year 12's graduate, the Year 11's fill in all the school leadership roles, but other than that future year 10's, 11's and 12's all have to do this after their exams.

Just great....
Swine-Flu invaded Lithuania too,2 guys dead already.(That wouldn't be much,but there's only 3m~ people in Lithuania.)
About 75%~ Schools are closed,so many kids having Flu (not swine, but still).
It doesn't look good.Another thing is The Society, they will only buy advanced swine-flu medicine to the Medics,Not the Patients. :x

I know alot of people who have gotten swine flu...i really dont believe the mortality rate is as high as the media makes it out to be...but if people would learn to wash their fucking hands alot of it would be prevented.

TheDee, you should be alright mate, the media has portrayed the swine flu to be an incredible killing beast, but in reality it isn't much worse from the common influenza (some people will even say the regular flu is worse), the media just doesn't tell you about the deaths from the normal flu.

Doobie, I'm really sorry to hear about that, just hang in there and you'll soon be alright. :)

Something's up with the town I live in (Tartu). One school was in threat of a school shooting today, the one like in Finland and in the US. To add to that, two other schools got bomb threats. All in one day. None of those fortunately didn't happen.

Bit worried. :|
