morrow was not released...the jackson trade (losing his contract + raja coming off the books) makes it easier for them to resign him. and they want to.

...plus i dont think u can be released and become a restricted free agent. if ur flat out released, then they would renounce their rights and any one could sign him. being a restricted free agent means that anyone can sign him, but u have first dibs...so if someone else gives him a contract ur allowed to match it and keep him.
