http://download.nba-live.com/index.php?act=view&id=1208There could never be a complete fix without ruining the balance of the game, but that one did pretty good. There was also a SUM aiact, but you would have to install SUM to get it, and it's 3 years old.
Live 07 was pretty much perimeter dominated. There weren't many post up plays and the perimeter guys tried to drive all the time. You could stop the PG from driving all the way with some defense, and then they would set up a play after that.
This is how you do it. Try to pick up the PG before he crosses half court. You will know that he is trying to go all the way if he is bringing the ball up near the sideline. Get close enough to initiate that dribble-drive-defense animation where you are stuck to the ballhandler while he is dribbling. From that animation, curl your left stick slowly from the direction that pg is going towards their ballhand, sort of pushing into the direction they are going to cut off their drive. You should see your defender start to push the PG towards the side, and the PG will either crossover or spin to the other direction and sometimes he will just go to the top of the key and setup a play. If he tries to crossover or spin and change his direction, do the same thing and initiate the dribble-drive-defense animation and again curl your left stick slowly toward his ballhand. He should either pass or setup a play. Combining this and the above aiact should result in more post play. Changing the default plays for the cpu teams should also get you more post play, especially if they are running plays for the lesser scoring big man.
If this doesn't work for you, use the search function to look for aiact patches and game fixes. There were several for NBA Live 07.
