6'10 Center - Had a decent start and was invited to the Thunder's training camp. Did not survive the fifth cut and played 11 games for the Austin Toros. After figuring out how to rebound effectively  I was called up by the Knicks. I average more minutes than Milicic and Curry combined but I come off the bench due to David Lee being the starting center
Currently averaging about 19 ppg, 9.5 rpg, 3.7 apg, 1.2 bpg and 0.8 spg on about 59% FG. It's quite easy to score as a Center...

7 games left in the D-League. Leading the league in PPG, FG% (as a point guard!) and FT% (with a 45 FT rating). Hopefully there are playoffs. I want to see the Vipers, who I've taken from 1-8 to 29-12 win an NBDL title!

6'3 Scoring Shooting Guard, 171 lbs.
in Summer Circuit i was playing for Orlando and didn't make it.
Then i gone to Miami and got cut after game 5.
Played D-League with 66sers. Till game 10 I was playing 5 mins quarter. But when I found out that I can change that, I played 4 games with 10 min quarter and got to Portland Trailblazers. 12 min quarters in NBA so... I played on January 4th, 2010 against Clippers. We won after two overtimes. I played 54 minutes, scored 41 points (39-20 FG), 12 assists, 7 rebounds and won the Player of the Game! :) 47 overall :)

My based on real life 6'2 3pt specialist player got sent down to the D-League after playing 5 games. I led the team in points and assists and even steals. Shame. Now I'm stuck with the Maine Red Claw or whatever you call it. Hope to get call up soon because I'm sick of the stupid point guard and the rest of the player on my team not passing me the ball while I'm wide open.

I posted on my 6'2 PG, Rick Daniel earlier, but here's some more detail (without the rant about my teammates lol). I'm averaging 8.0 ppg (second on the team), 2.9 apg (also second on the team), and 0.5 spg (fourth on the team). My Reno Bighorns are last in the west - I forget our exact win/loss total - but I'm developing some chemistry with my power forward. I should have over five assists per game, but... no, I said I wasn't going to rant about my teammates. Unfortunately, my shooting percentages are worst on my team (32% from the field, 29% from three), and I'm supposed to be my team's best shooter (highest shooting ratings from medium and long range). I'm also - in late January - still coming off of the bench. I s-u-c-k. lol Anyone know what I can do to get my rating up to make the Pros before I have to retire from old age? I'm currently at 48 overall.

It's the same in the nba. I run breaks, wide open under the basket and get positions for jumpers without getting a look all the time. We lost a lot of close decisions due to my teammates' inability to properly distribute the ball. And when I call for it, they still won't pass and I get a bad team grade for asking. Pfff. And when I try to be the passer, I end up playing pointguard against guys who are too quick for me to guard.

While I'm busy complaining, I'm the whore of the team. Coach puts me in 3 different positions every game, making it hard for me to know where I am supposed to be on the floor. Or he does more brilliant things like having me guard Dwayne Wade, while McGrady is sitting fresh on the bench.

Starting over D-Mac most of the time though, so it's not all bad.

I am considering what to add to my game next. Seeing as how I am good enough on defense and offense for now, something like offensive rebounding is probably best. With Yao and Scola, defense rebounds are pretty much covered.
Last thing I used skillpoints on was vertical and that has also improved my jumpshot.

I've found that if I draw in a defender with a pump fake or what it is the player does when you tap circle, it's easier to give an assist. That's how I get most of my skill points. Also setting screens for players is a nice way of improving your grade.

Finding out where your player hotspots are in shootaround mode, helped me make the most of my open looks. For some reason I shoot best from the base line and at the top of the key.

Finished the season leading the Vipers to a 35-13 record. Swept through the playoffs and now its back to the beginning of the season. No more summer league, back to square one. I never got a call-up last season, so I probably won't this one. At least I start now. Basically, I've put in probably 40 hours, got my guy to 70 overall all for nothing. Looks like I'm fucked because 2K did a shitty job on this mode.

I created a 6'5 Pass First PG, and so far after my stint with the Spurs, i've sent back to the D-League and now playing for the Austin Toros. And I'm so glad that after 3 games with the Toros, i've recorded so far my best game against the Bayhawks. A pass first PG with 45 overall rating recorded stats with 32 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steal and a block in a 5-minute/qtr game..

GET ME OUT OF SIOUX FALLLLLS. I'm tired of having 2 points/16 rebounds a game GAMES. My teammates are just dysfunctional and only know how to pass to a center, not when he's open in the post to dunk it... but at the DAMN 3PT LINE EVERYTIME. WHAT DO THEY WANT ME TO DO. I'm so sick of the Sioux Falls Skyforce, I can't exploit the time change either well because I'm playing on the 360.

Im not ready to be a starter yet with my player..I get around 600 points per game..
How can I lower my role or something..

52 rating, PF got onto the Lakers after fourth d-league game, playing more minutes than Odom and Fisher (off the bench) . This is the worse part of the mode, the unrealistic playing time. I figure as a rookie out of d-league i would rarely see playing time, maybe some garbage minutes, but playing more than key guys like Odom or Fisher... :x It makes me want to leave this mode behind.

lets see how ill be in NBA now (im a 52 ovrl SG)

let me know how 10 day contract goes...
I had a 10 day contract with cleveland but I have been there for a month and still no notifications of signing or anything..
In nba trade/signings i saw that I signed $0/0 year contract so that must be a bug

i played 14 minutes, drop 4 points, 4 rebs (2 of them beeing offensive), 2 asts and 1 block
but i turned it over twice and i was 2/7 from the field
they put me to play SF most of the time, guarding Carmello lol
this made my grade low (too many points by my matchup), B-

Yeah i also noticed that.. it's so unrealistic when my player a pass first PG with 45overall plays more minutes than Roger Mason, and the fact that Tony P became a shooting guard because of me, i can't really see that happening for real. But i think as a new feature for 2k it's a job well done and maybe they can make it better next year.

I ended up giving up on my guy stuck in Sioux Falls, so I went ahead with a 6'5 Athletic pointguard. Everything has beeen smooth so far, about to start up to the 2nd game on my call-back from the 76er's :D. Rating is 50, and I'm already averaging a double double. Stats are 15.0 PPG 4.0 RPG 11.0 APG 1.0 SPG 1.0 BPG 85% FG 100% FT :D

I tried a couple of different positions before I settled for my current player. 5'10" All-around PG. Played with Cleveland in the Summer Circuit. Got invited to training camp and stayed on the final roster. Currently on my 12th game I think and I've started on my 9th and 10th game before being benched again. Still a 45 overall with mostly my offensive stats updated. I didn't realize there were other categories until later on. This is probably my only try where I didn't get sent to the D-league and it has gotten quite boring doing the same thing since I pretty much have the same role without the risk of getting cut.

hi,
i created a few my players :D i try PG, SG and SF so far on my first try i got owned by the new system but after a few games i finally get a touch...

and so i decide creating My Player --- > PG Wade Wilson 6'3, i try to understand the game so far being a PG give me a lots of advantage against other position and most important of those is the ball position since im a PG i get the first touch...

i was invited summer circuit with the atlanta hawks, got sloppy on the first game but i manage to get through 6 games A+ generating double double 16 pts, 4.7 reb and 6.3 ast

so far the hawks like my performance so they invited me to the training camp... though i got other offer from other teams i choose the hawks just to give thanks for the opportunity as a payback to them...

and i manage to get A+ through all the 5 games so far -- gabbing racking points and reb and ast too :P since on training camp i dont get sub :P i player through out the game... giving me 20pts. 5.9 reb and 7.1 ast

then after the training camp I HEADED STRAIGHT TO NBA! lol i was surprise i thought its just a exhibition match or something... im getting 24 mins on the rotation well i think its enough for me :D
im now on my 12th nba games leading the rookies by 23.3 pts 6 reb 8.1 ast 1.3 stl

i learn from time to time PASS is IMPORTANT so dont give away turnover and play good defense. use intense-D often
btw my stamina is 90 so i dont worry about running everywhere... dunk 80 i got sprite slam replay every game :P

Decided to restart after 60+ games with my player. Abandoning a 72 overall player who I put hours into. I believe that I couldn't make the NBA because I failed to even make a training camp. This will be better than the last try in a sense as I am going through Draft Combine and setting 8 minute quarters. Wish me luck.

Damn. 39 overall athletic PG is better than 72 overall all-around PG. Got him up to 46 though. Had a solid first game, horrible second game and amazing third game. Averaging an A, 32 points, 4 assists and 3 steals right now. Hoping to get picked up in the first round, though I'm projected 48th. Fingers crossed I get to the NBA tonight or tomorrow, and get the eight minute quarters right.
