My player...handicap!

Postby Jay-Z on Tue Oct 13, 2009 5:38 am

Hi, I have a problem with PC version of 2K10, in my player mode I can't call for a pick because when I press "B" in my XBOX360 controller my player realize a crossover. On PS3 the same button calls for a pick. Anyone knows how to solve this?

Thanks!

I noticed the same thing; there's no 'call for pick' option in the controller setup to change the button to, either. This really hurts my play. I could count on a pick to often set my player free or get him an assist on the Xbox 360; on PC he just does a little 'I'm skrewt' dance.

compared to the console versions, the PC game has to use the controller config called Alternate A where B is crossover moves and Y is spin moves. so PC doesnt have the pick n roll control and to hop step we gotta tap X.

To get a pick and roll on the PC version tap RB then B.
Opinions are my own.

it might be LB, whatever brings up a little dialog box and an icon underneath one of your teammates. you can choose which teammate by flicking the right stick. it's the dual player control thing.

Thanks JaoSming for your answer. But, I still have the same problem. There's no dialog box, and no pick & roll move when I press what you told me (always talking in my player mode, in normal mode all works fine). Maybe somethig has a bad configuration (XBOX360 controller on windows 7 32bits) I don't know...or maybe i just have to wait for a 2k patch to solve this. Thanks anyway

it is one of the shoulder buttons, i dont know if you moved your turbo buttons to the triggers or not so just tap one of the triggers or shoulder buttons and youll find it

That doesn't work for me either. You can use the dual player control in My Player mode, Jon?

nope, you cant

it's either LB or LT, depending on whether or not you changed turbo and clutch to the triggers or not.

So one of the left triggers calls for a pick?

Left trigger = defensive position / Right trigger = turbo
Left Shoulder button = 2vs1 in defense (in ofense ?) / Right Shoulder button = icon pass

That's with the correct configuration of the XBOX360 controller. But still, there's no pick & roll button in my player mode. In normal mode everything goes fine...left shoulder button in ofense to appear the dialog box, but in my player mode is missing... :(

I found it out and I feel so stupid. When you have the ball, press right on the D-pad to bring up dual player control.

Right on the d-pad isnt call for pick, it's to run plays, and the pick and roll just happens to be one there.
