Inside Scoring vs Layup?

I'm trying to make a "attack-the-basket" type of player, whats the difference between inside scoring and layup ? Layup is 90 right now , inside scoring around 60.
And does "shot in traffic" works with contact layups ?

Inside scoring is more from hook shots and shots from the post area while lay-ups are well.... lay-ups.

yeah, I know.

but I want to know if inside scoring influences layups , I see a lot of small guys with a really high inside scoring rating.
