Default Guide on memory editing My player minutes

Good news for PC users. You can use memory editors to edit your my player minutes to whichever you want.
I used Tsearch.
1. Go to options, set game min to 8. Then start rookie challenge. Search for 8 , integer 1 byte.
2. Exit game, go to options, set game min to 11, Then start rookie challenge. Search for 11.
3. Repeat the process few times, setting game min to different numbers.
4. Now go to my player, load your game. One address would have value 5. Change it to whichever you want.
5. Start a game, you can check that it works!
I didn't understand! Can someone explain what the guy did???

Mmmm i read this process to change quarter lenght..but..it doesn't work for me.
I never user t.search before, so i downloaded it. I found version 1.6b, do you have the same?
Btw, this is what I done:
- run nba 2k10
- option->load/save-> load my career's file
- alt+tab
- open t-search
- click on "open process" but... i don't see ANY process. No nba 2k10, no other process that are running on my pc..
I also try to run t-search before of nba 2k10 but same results..
Who can help me/us? I saw many people having this problem..
My OS is win xp.
Just for sure, can you link ( with a pm also) where you dl t.search?

Ok, i have solved my problem (it was the firewall).
Another question: after changing quarter's minutes, did you noticed an over-minutage given to your player?
NY Knicks call me, and I expect to play few minutes...instead in my first game I played for 31 minutes (Hughes plays 25 mins..).
Is it normal?

wow nice find!! 8 min quarters FTW!
Tue Oct 13, 2009 12:46 pm
Nice find... but now I have gone and found out how to cheat with skills points...

Gave myself 9,999,999...
Tue Oct 13, 2009 1:47 pm
well that explains all the 99 rated players

to you sirs
Tue Oct 13, 2009 3:07 pm
See, now that defeats the My Player purpose. Just use player lock in association mode or something if you want your player rated 99999.
Tue Oct 13, 2009 3:28 pm

you can do this with any game but since they didnt kinda lock these files away does that mean that there are gonna be 99 super stars online now...
Tue Oct 13, 2009 9:50 pm
which is why we have this place where we can find non-cheaters to play with, once online gets working

Set minutes for single quarter is great.
Making others shit like over rating your player's stat no...and i hope with next patch they fix some shit

Hi,
What ist the adress to change the skill points? I dont play online anyway.

Just to somewhat "defend" my post earlier.
I tried this ONLY to see if it can be done.
I have no use of playing with 99 rated player it kills the fun. I have enjoyed immensely building my PG from a 40 some odd rated player to a 58 rated player. And I look forward to moving along in my career and getting better.
I agree that this will likely be exploited by many. I hope to see some kind of thread eventually that will have a database of sorts of other here that have actually built their players up and might enable us to play together. Additionally 2K might be able to do a check online that checks to see how many games have been played by their uploaded players to get to these 99 rated players and in doing so block those that have gotten to 99 dishonestly.

This. I wouldn't worry too much about all the 99's, who'd want to play a game like that anyway? Just do regular create a player and go jerk off over the fact that you scored 92 points with a flattering version of yourself on a video game.

I did everything, but when I try to do the open process part and select nba 2k10exe, nothing happens? Any advice?

do you know how to find the string for sim quarter length in my player mode? i dont want to play really long games but i dont like how the sim'd games in the d-league are all playing 48min, so my production is relatively very low.

Values: 1 = on / 0 = off
Playing time Minutes : 5443ABC
Sim time Minutes : 5443AC0
Real player FT%: 5443B64
Injuries: 54439D8
Difficulty : 54439C4 (0=Rookie, 1=Pro, 2=All-Star, 3=Superstar, 4=HOF)

Haha its funny cause the people that do this have probably never picked up a basketball in their life.. While us real ballers like to experience what these intense, professional athletes go through to reach the top...
But sure, creating an ultra super cool cyber version of you (probably 10-20kg heavier and at least 6 inches taller, not to mention 10000 times more skilled with the rock) sounds like great fun hahaha

How risky are memory editors? I've never used one and I don't want to mess up my computer... Is there a way to do the same thing for the save file?
