Classic Court: New York Knicks 1989-90 Preview

Ive been working on a 1989-90 Season patch which I may change to 1987-88 yet, here is a preview of Madison Sqaure Garden from 87 to early 90's...BIG thanks to Bayag for putting up with me buggin him with questions!

Next courts Im working on from the Era are...Utah Jazz (almost done), Phoenix Suns & Sacramento Kings...but I shall be working on more after those are complete.

Looks promising... IMO, I would select 1988-89 season, because the Lakers and the Celtics were still competitive for the championship... That was the last season for Kareem (and I think he should feature in a retro roster from that era!) and in the game Larry Bird will NOT be injured! . From the other side, the Bulls had already their core that lead them for their first 3-peat... For all those reasons, I think that season is definitely the more interesting one! BTW, I'm happy to know that some people is currently using NBA 07 as a platform for retro seasons... I love this stuff!

Thanks for the reply man...Yeah I been toying with that idea too...kinda leaning more towards it now, I'll have to make a bald Kareem then in that case!

You're right, Kareem used to be completely bald at the very end of his career... BTW there are great patchers here (yes, BAYAG is the master!) and they've already made some great teams/artwork from that era. I hope they can help you in reaching your goal...

I know man I already have all there work & will include it (with credits) I will have pictures of Utah Jazz over the next few days too..

Great, looking forward for new updates... I'd really, really love to "replay" the historical EA's "Lakers vs Celtics" videogame in a modern platform!!!
