Forgot to post before, just stopping by to say great reviews of the team, bolding the team names also helped, it looks a lot better now in my opinion, little thing, but great difference. The Amar'e-Baron deal should also help me a lot too, happy with it, I will help Amar'e become that 27+ point scorer who he really should be  .

30. Toronto Raptors – The Raptors have All-Star and Team USA member Chris Bosh, so it might look strange to see them here but it is all justified. Bosh is not happy with the team and the team is not happy with him. The team also drafted Chris Hova despite having Jose Calderon at PG already. Signs point to the franchise entering into a rebuilding phase.

I don't think there is a single AI controlled Raptors team in a dynasty/assocation with a winning record. Gotta love being a Raps fan sometimes.

Well done overall on all 30 teams though. I like how you kept them all fairly short and to the point, it would be a little tedious on both the reader and the writer if they were any longer.

ratrac, I thought you would be happy with the deal. :) You're a starter now!

And asdf, thanks man. Yeah, it was tough because I had more to say bout some teams than others. At least I made it through! :)

Seattle Stealth 3-4 After Loss To Houston

Preview | Box Score | Recap

Image
Tracy Mcgrady drives for the layup

11 Nov, 2010

HOUSTON (AP) – Tracy McGrady scored 26 points to lead the Houston Rockets to a 110-97 win over the struggling Seattle Stealth. Juan Dixon chipped in 17 from off the bench and Aaron Brooks added 16. Rookie C Everett Peterson had a career high 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks to make up for an average game from Yao Ming .

Seattle’s Kevin Durant showed few signs of a twisted ankle as he racked up 34 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Raja Bell scored 18 but Seattle got little from their starting frontcourt as Jamaal Magloire and David Lee combined for just 16 points and 6 rebounds.

“We didn’t get off to the best start,” Stealth captain and starting PG Jason Kidd, who finished with 10 assists and 5 steals, stated, “Houston took control of the game in the first quarter and we did not compete after that. Kevin tried his best to keep us in it but we didn’t step up and give him the support that he deserved and the team needed.”

Seattle was aggressive from the opening tip and quickly built a 10 point lead but Houston promptly erased it and powered their way to a commanding 20 point lead by the end of the quarter. The Rockets’ full court press was devastating and resulted in Houston taking a 25 point lead halfway through the second quarter.

Durant tried his absolute best to keep his side in the game but his scoring heroics would be cancelled out by Houston’s tough press and teamwork. “I can’t do it all by myself,” the NBA’s leading scorer stated, “I need my guys to step up like Houston’s role players did.”

At one stage in the game, Durant let his emotions take over and he tripped the Rockets’ McGrady. McGrady got up, chased Durant, and grabbed the back of his jersey before game officials separated the two players. McGrady refused to comment about the altercation in which both players were given technical fouls. Durant was candid about the encounter, “I play with a lot of heart and a lot of passion but that play was an accident. I don’t try to hurt other players.”

Notes: Durant has scored 30+ points in 4 of the last 5 games… Ron Artest had a quiet game after arriving to it in his underwear. His coach looked past that and allowed him to start the game but Artest did not play much more than half of it… Shane Battier was hurt in the first quarter and left the court with 1:35 left. He did not return to the game…

Damn, only 3-4. :? But I think it will go only up from this point. Although losing like that was not acceptable as Yao only scored 10 points. Also, Lee and Magloire only 6 boards..

Does not look too good. Maybe you did not invest enough to make the next step. Durant is still top notch but also still an asshole. Trade this bitch :)

Looking forward to the next chapter :)

Thank You!

Thanks for helping me reach 1500 replies and 30000 views! It's incredible!

Just interrupting to thank all of you for supporting and following the story of the Seattle Stealth! This is quite a milestone and I am very happy that this has become so popular. I love story telling and I love writing. If my attempt at being a lawyer fails, I am sure to fall back on my study in journalism.

I would do shout-outs but there are so many of you. A simple thank you from me. (Y)

Congrats on reaching what I consider to be the golden standard for dynasties/association stories.

You join the list of other great dynasties including:
Mafia's 76ers Dynasty (Live '05)
Micchy Boy's Lakers Dynasty (Live '05)
X's Bobcats Dynasty (Live '05) :P
Seraph's Nets Dynasty (Live '05)

So a pretty exclusive list that you have joined (Y)

EDIT: Judging by that list, Live '05 was the last good version of NBA Live. Although admittedly both yourself (Legend Is Born 1) & I (X's Blazers) got close to those lofty standards with Live '06.

Chapter 24

Sit was shocked at the news, “What? Payton is back?”
“Not here,” Vince stated the obvious.
“How’d he get out of the mental institution?”
“He was never supposed to be in there to start with.”
“Damn it Vince!” Sit shouted, he had tried to make sure that Payton was deemed unfit to return to the Stealth, “There’s a reason why we had him put away.”
Vince tried to calm Sit down, “Don’t worry, I got an injunction against him for us. He’s not allowed anywhere near the Stealth unless it’s an official NBA game.”
“So you’re saying that he’s back in the League?” Sit quizzed him.
“Yes.”
“Where?”
“Memphis.”

* * *

Seattle opened the season with a win and after a week found themselves at 2-2. The losses started to pile up after that as the Stealth fell into a long spell of blowout losses. Kevin Durant was scoring at will but his team mates weren’t stepping up. He let his frustrations get the better of him after one practice.
“Man, that dunk was sick!” DJ White yelled over at Ty.
Ty was in front of his locker and pulling on some jeans, “See Coach’s face?”
“That was for real!” White was still excited from Ty dunking over Trevor Ariza in training.
Jason Kidd was quiet and looked at his phone. He began to reply to a text message. Next to him was Jeff Green tying up his shoe laces. Ty and White were still laughing and joking loudly as Durant walked into the room.
Durant shouted, “Stop fooling around!”
White stopped immediately and turned around to grab his bag. Ty had stopped too but still had a smile on his face. Ty also turned to grab a shirt. Durant grabbed his arm.
“What you smirking about?”
Ty pulled his right arm away from Durant’s grip and stared him in the eyes, “Man, what’s wrong with you?”
Durant punched Ty in the face and Ty fell to the ground. It wasn’t long before Green and Kidd had stepped in to restrain Durant. Adam Morrison had run over to help Ty up. Ty was dazed from the hit and needed help to get to a chair to sit down on. Morrison began jawing with Durant before Ariza and David Lee held Morrison back. Some of the coaching staff had heard the shouting and rushed inside to see what all the fuss was about.

“You’ve got to be less harsh on him,” Kidd said to Durant.
The two were walking to the team bus that would take them to the game against the Celtics.
“Who you talking about?” Durant was agitated.
“Tyson,” Kidd tried to reason, “He’s young and he’s allowed to make mistakes. Why do you hate him so much?”
Durant didn’t answer.
Kidd frowned, “I admire that you want to lead this team but you really need to keep any personal differences aside. You need to be professional about it.”
Durant thought to himself, You just don’t understand.
And then he blurted out, “If he can’t handle me then he doesn’t belong on this team.”
Durant and Kidd did not talk for the rest of the way to the game, which they ended up losing 119-102. It was their fifth loss in a row.

Durant was sitting on the bench with a towel wrapped around his neck.
“Durant, get back in the game!”
Coach Karl was shouting to his star forward who got up and trudged up to him.
“We’re down by 20.”
“I don’t care.”
“I ain’t going back in. This is embarrassing.”
“Don’t get me mad son.”
Durant put his hands on his hips and looked at his coach. He knew he had to get back on, so he shook his head and walked towards the scorers’ table. Durant went onto the court for Jeff Green. The game was against the Cavs and Seattle was headed towards their sixth straight loss. Durant looked over at the Cavs bench and LeBron James was fooling around. Rudy Gay was already icing his knees and stretching to warm down. Durant pouted and didn’t even try to stop Rudy Fernandez dribble past him. Fernandez scored an easy bucket and the Cavs crowd was on their feet.
“Hey hey hey!” yelled the referee and all three officials were blowing their whistles.
Durant had tripped Fernandez as the Spaniard backpedalled up the court after his bucket. Durant was surrounded by three Cavs players.
“That’s a cheap shot!” James shouted from his bench, “Toss him!”
Jason Kidd was chewing gum and looked disappointed.

Sit had made the trip to Cleveland to see his team play. He was embarrassed by Seattle’s lack of effort.
“I’ve got to make a change,” Sit had told the members on the Seattle board during a meeting in the morning.
He was back in his office and calling a few teams.
“Can I please speak to him?” Sit spoke into his mobile.
His secretary buzzed him on the intercom, and Sit said to the person on the phone, “Can you hold please?”
Sit put his mobile against his chest and used his free hand to press a button to answer his secretary, “Yes?”
“Someone from the Bucks sir on line two,” she replied.
“Thanks.”
Sit got back to his mobile, “Hey mate, I’ve got to call you back later.”
Sit hung up and grabbed the handset on his desk, “Hello?”
The conversation was brief; Sit put the phone down and smiled. He called his secretary into his office and poured two glasses of wine. He gave her one and raised his own towards her for a toast.
“I know you don’t know much about basketball.”
She laughed, “Yes sir.”
“But this is great news. Actually, it’s bloody awesome!”
Sit had a sip while she didn't even touch hers; she wasn’t a fan of wine.
“So who did we get?” she inquired.
Sit’s smile was even wider, “Andrew Bogut.”

nah, you shouldn't trade durant, cause he's a great leader, look how white and ty stopped joking around when he telled them not to, he just needs to stop punching people and he could be the Mark Messier type captain :)

EDIT: About the Bogut trade: There's always a catch in your chapters and i think it's the same this time. Why was Sit so happy with the bogut trade? I think you acquired not just him, maybe you even got Redd :D

Finally a big man in Seattle. Still Im eager to find out what you had to give up. I dont know if I ever mentioned it, but Durant is a dickhead :)
I really like the professional calmness of J-Kidd though. Hes one leader imho. I hope that your amendment really pays off. Keep it up.
