so after finishing a promising season in franchise mode with the wizards i was expecting some large increases in kwame brown's rating at the beginning of the next season. to my suprise not only did his ratings drop like a rock but the stats the rating are based on weren't even the ones from my season(finsihed year with 18ppg 7rb, new stats said 7ppg 4rb)
in fact when i went to double check my whole teams stat for the previous season, no one had the correct numbers that i had finished with the year before...
anyone know whats going on? i'm using windows xp btw..

I don't know what the deal is with the screwed up stats from your first franchise year.
I do know that player stats have nothing to do with the progression of player ratings in franchise mode. That is dictated by something called 'player package' and it can be found in players.dbf. I don't know if you know about data base file editing, but you can find out all about it in the forum search.
From what I gather the best 'player package' is an A or B.
