He was an idol when I was young.. just let him have one song.. but stop overhyping this and glorifying him like he's a fucking superhero. He's not. God.. Makes me wonder if the United States really did lose their balls. Shit.. Theres so many more people being sacrificed for better causes worldwide and everyone's just making a big deal out of Michael's death... where was everyone when thousands of people were dying in Darfur? Iraq? Afghanistan? Iran? Rwanda? My point being is that life can go on without Michael.. It's not like we lost our messiah or some shit like that.. Sorry I had to go on this rant. It's pissing me off that everyone is grief-stricken by Michael's death.. but could care less about the rest of the world.. Honestly.. how many people even know where Darfur or Rwanda even is? Do you even know what has happened there without looking it up on a map or on the internet? Everyone suddenly forgets about all the genocides that has happened just because one man has died.. This is honestly ridiculous and taken way too far.. Yea.. once again just had to let off this steam.

Does he have to be politically correct? Michael Jackson is surely an icon and a music legend, but he doesn't deserve the media to ride his coattails for the week and so while in irony they were grilling him many years ago. Sure he has changed our lives with his music, but it can't be all about him. We still have wars, disease, and many other problems we have to fix.

Dont worry, no harms done. The truth is, you're right on most part, but when you post things like that in this thread just when we're discussing about including one of his songs, it's really misleading. Maybe the "Letting off the steam" thread is a better place to post.

Like I said, we should consider your post as a wake up call because the world as a whole is really out of their minds. It's perfectly OK to be sad and respectful, but overhype that and it's really not suitable when there is so many other things we should care about instead.
