I am impatiently waiting 2 hours for GameStop to open (to go pick up Ghostbusters... and my wicked cool T-shirt >.>).

XBOX Live is down for 24 hours maintenance today. :|

It's more hate for that travesty that the GH series has become starting with that game than it is for the guitar "legends"

fuck WT had more/better legends

I like Legends, there's some cool stuff on there (Killswitch, In Flames, Senses Fail, Slayer, Fall Of Troy etc) ... not so keen on World Tour or Metallica, but hell, it's better than RockBand

Where the hell do you guys fart out the money for the games? 60 euro's is pretty steep, damn.

I never buy them for full price. Well, almost never, one or two a year.

I used to get the first batch of returns in the store for 35 bucks with the discount, but kathryn recently quit so I dont get that anymore.

I save / trade games in / get raped in the ass because of trading games into stores to get games.

I bought that tiger new, and I bought Fuel new. I plan to get Fight Night new at the end of the month with the money i have saved. But after that I dont plan on getting anything new till the NBA games come out.

Okay, so a word of warning about Ghostbusters. It took me four hours to complete the single player mode. And I went way slow, spending alot of time just blowing shit up. It was definitely fun, and had pretty good gameplay... but four hours (minus probably an hour of pausing/screwing around)?? Bogus.

I run out of things to buy so I just occasionally buy games. Not often though, the 360 belongs to my brother and paying $90 for a game I get to play once a week at best isn't really a good investment.

Like benji, I rarely buy mine full price, but I also only buy PC games, so it's never that costly compared to console games. I usually wait a few weeks or a couple of months and buy them used on amazon for half the regular price or less.

Same here. Wait for a few months for it to get cheap, then buy. I also tend to buy a lot of games in one go.

Some games I'll buy as soon as they come out, but even then I try to get the best price (thank you, JB Hi-Fi). Other times, as with Assassin's Creed, I'll pick them up after they've been out for a while and have come down greatly in price.

All PS3/XBOX360 games should come out with platinum game status price. 60 dollars is quite expensive.

They're probably quite expensive to produce, too.

Sure. And then all the game studios would close from not making any profits, and we wouldn't get any new games. Ever. Great idea :) $60 really isn't that much in the grand scheme of things. A small family would spend that much going out to dinner.

Right. $60 isn't much when you think of how much of hard work it has taken for the title to come out, unless it's a shit game.

By out to eat, I don't exactly mean fast food. Some entry-level sit-down restaurant like Denny's or something. Figure $10 a plate average for 4 people, plus $2 per drink- that's $48. Plus tax, wer'e above $50. Plus if you tip, then it's however much. We don't eat out alot, but some people do <Shrug>

You should do some barbell shrugs instead of regular shrugging. Then it's easier to lift those action puppets too..

Let's not expand your ridiculous bullshit to another thread, vinceair. Shoo.

On topic- The multiplayer in Ghostbusters was unfortunately not enough to redeem the game to me. It's all co-op, but everyone treats it like versus because you get ranked 1-4 at the end. I stand by my previous mini-review- it's a fun game, and anything furthering the Ghostbusters story line is welcome. But it's just too damn short to justify the full purchase price. Definitely wait until it's used and much cheaper. Or hell, just rent it. It only takes a few hours to beat.

Because you don't know him, you do not have a good rapport with him and I'd guarantee Donatello didn't interpret it as "friendly humor". You were just being a dick.

I just finished Mirror's Edge on PC and had a pretty good time with it. Much too short of course and too much trial-and-error type of gameplay, but it definitely has some creative stuff going on, and a compelling main character. I believe the sequel has already been announced.
