just extract the 1st part(the other are volumes for easy uploading)

After that, follow the readme file.

I beleive you have WinRar installed in your PC so extracting the files would be a piece of cake.
place all 1-5 files in one folder
right click in any of those files
then select EXTRACT HERE
it will take a while for all the files to get extracted but once it's done you should have the following files:
the original 1-5 files
a Read Me file
Part 1 (sgsm & Roster).rar
Part 2 (other folders).rar
In order to install the files it would be adviseable to uninstall your NBA Live 08 (less issues to solve in case the MOD encounters a problem)

Once your done uninstalling the game don't forget to go to your C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 08 then delete all the remaining files in there (better yet delete the whole folder)

Also, don't forget to remove your NBA Live 08 folder in your My Documents folder

Whew if you follow these steps thoroughly you should be able to install the TUP MOD (just follow the read me file)

In case you encounter an issue browse the thread for the fix it should still be available

:( For the first time in my TUP playing history, I experienced my first crash outside the USA jersey issue. Sarcastically, it happened when my Lakers are going to face the Magic in the Season mode. It only shows the warm ups and then eventually it will crash.

It only crashes during the season mode because when I tried to play Lakers-Magic in the 'Play Now' mode, it didn't crash. The latest patch that I did installed was the shoes by BryanC, but as I have mentioned, it worked out fine in the 'Play Now' mode.

Try to press Enter once you see the pre-game warm ups. It will skip the animation and go directly to tip-off It should work. I believe the issue is with the intro logos.

no problem, try to remove the logos if you don't want your game to crash again until the TUP guys figure out a fix for this

How can I remove that because unfortunately, the game crashed at the start of the 2nd Quarter.

It should be a Rucker Playground Park.

Maybe, it is in your video card.

to add on to jokyu's instructions...there are also two fixes (vol 1 and vol 2)..on the front page.
then a tweak to vol 2 (around late 50's)..includes roster 2.1
then another roster update 2.2 (few pages back i think, last page?)

how about adding draft class teams for the next roster update. like the ones you see in nba 2k series. that would look really dope!

EDIT: and make more all-time team rosters (not just lakers, bulls and celtics).

I've been very busy preparing for the start of classes. Unfortunately, the start of the classes are moved due to the spread of H1N1 Virus.
