I will stick to the plan being the classic anti-Laker guy. Nuggets in 3.

Get ready to be questioned, then.

On Pau !? Yes , he's a threat but on Bynum !? hmmm , he's never been a factor or a threat on Lakers' opponents this playoffs .
He can't even score on Chuck Hayes and Luis Scola what about that !

I think the reason behind my unreasonable choice was because I wanted to see the Lakers play against either Cleveland or Magics in the finals which will be highly entertaining (at least for me), but I dont like the thought of Kobe winning another championship.

Just cant stand him and a few other Lakers players, so I kind of want the Nuggets to go through. I guess that makes me a semi anti-Laker guy, almost like you.

Lakers might be the underdog at this series. With their poor defense and sometimes poor offense. I hope they can solve that problem.
Tue May 19, 2009 2:00 am
I don't want to count the Nuggets out but it's difficult to pick against the Lakers. I'll say Lakers in six, I think the Nuggets have been playing too well to be swept or out in five but I just don't like their chances enough to pick them here. Needless to say, I can be as wildly wrong about these things as anyone else (and it's not uncommon that I am) but yeah, just too tough for me to pick against the Lakers.
Tue May 19, 2009 9:11 am
I think the Nuggets can make the upset and win the series in 7.
Tue May 19, 2009 10:13 am
guess the nuggets have some problem with their schedule...
apparently the owner of the Pepsi Center were not expecting the nuggets to get this far in the playoffs, and already sold their may 25 schedule to WWE...

Lol, that's just downright rude of the owner. Really.
LA in 6.
Tue May 19, 2009 10:42 am
The Lakers will step up and win this series in 6.
They simply haven't been playing good basketball so far.
It's time for them to shine.
Kobe will be next to unstoppable, while Gasol is next to impossible to guard.
(I read about the scheduling problem thing earlier, and it's ridiculously hilarious)
Tue May 19, 2009 10:50 am
I like the comment made by Vince McMahon.
Tue May 19, 2009 12:01 pm
And just to make things more entertaining, Ticketmaster is still allowing people to purchase tickets to both events, with no refunds being available at this time. Vince McMahon's right though, this one's on Kroenke,
Tue May 19, 2009 4:56 pm
It will still be lakers at 4 or 5
Tue May 19, 2009 5:05 pm
really really hard choise for me, but i hate LAL, so i go with Denver in 7, and this is why:
1. they are well rested
2. awesome chemistry and individual play from Melo and Billups, and they will outplay Lakers's PG and SF easily
3. Nene, Martin and Birdman can really handle with Bynum and Gasol
4. J.R. Smith is J.R. Smith, but kobe will do better.
it would be very tought competition, but my chips are on nuggets
Tue May 19, 2009 7:24 pm
Now that's funny, where WWE and NBA clashes.

Put the blame on Kroenke, and this also reflects his thoughts towards his own team. He doesn't even have faith in his own team and that's the source of the problem.

The Nuggets players should be mad at this.
I cant wait to see how this will work out. Vince McMahon said he'll sent his trucks and players anyway.
Tue May 19, 2009 7:36 pm
Modifly, you're the one who said that the NBA is like the WWE right?

WWE will give way to the NBA for sure and the NBA or just the Denver organization will hear a mouthful from the WWE script wherever they will be relocated.
Tue May 19, 2009 8:03 pm
Rasheed Wallace said that, I just quoted him.

Perhaps, though I would've thought that with the WWE booking the venue so far in advance, their arrangement would have to be honoured. I guess not since it still hasn't been resolved. It's definitely embarrassing for Kroenke and his business group.
Tue May 19, 2009 8:57 pm
It all started because Kroenke doubt his team's ability to win, no? This is horrible planning and management, at the very least he should have kept the arena available to the Nuggets only until they definitely wont be using it because they're eliminated or whatsoever. This kind of thing should never happened at this level. I think the right thing to do in this case would be to keep his words and give the arena to the WWE since they booked the place first, but that will cause so many problems NBA-wise. No matter who gets to use the arena and no matter what the outcome is, Kroenke and his business group will lose from this. This includes their reputation and image, and they will definitely hear a mouthful from both the WWE and NBA.
Tue May 19, 2009 10:53 pm
Couldn't the NBA re-schedule Game 3 to another day?

Yeah Bynum is usually a factor against us with his shot blocking and offensive rebounding, not so much his scoring...
and to answer the questions about the WWE/NBA mixup:
Pepsi Center officials told the ABC television affiliate in Denver that the Nuggets game will be played as scheduled and that they are working with the WWE to reschedule or move their event.
Wed May 20, 2009 1:13 am
The Lakers will win Game 4 because Cena will go Superman and will flying-shoulder-block and five-knuckle-shuffle the entire Nuggets.
Wed May 20, 2009 1:22 am
Why not move the schedule !?
Hmmm , Kroenke didn't trust this team to reach this far .

Or Kobe unexpectedly turns on the Lakers in the fourth quarter, hitting Phil Jackson with a chair then proceeding to remove his jersey to reveal he's now a Nugget. Also, anything goes for a short stretch as all three referees are "accidentally" (and conveniently) knocked out long enough for rules to be broken without penalty.
Wed May 20, 2009 8:05 am
Then the Houston Rockets will interrupt the match to attack the Lakers resulting in a disqualification for the Nuggets. Unless it is a no disqualification match, the Nuggets will win. They are thugs as Mark Cuban said.

I can't help but laugh when I read that. Damn, Andrew.
