Sorry for not being around for two days! We've been cleaning our unit in two straight days, and I wasn't able to use my PC again. (And I wasn't able to watch the Game 2 rout of Hornets by the Nuggets )

BUT HERE'S THE BIG NEWS!
I know the MOD release is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too delayed. So, what did bryan posted was right, the MOD will be released in a day or two after I've compiled the fixes and after the roster team (kidjustin and company ) are done with most of the database fixes.

Now for updates.
hcper already sent me the overlays for rooks and sophs
mshooter and bryan is already sent me the dornas and court fixes (Including Coach-Table-Morph bug Fix). All courts should be working fine.
I think its mshooter who sent me some of the fixes like the arena photos for wiz.
DLC already fixed the replay box overlapping bug and pause stats screen.

For the courts of Add-on Teams (nike etc), someone already posted and released the Add-on team courts, so there are already new 3 courts for Nike, Reebok and Jordan, I replaced 3 of the oldies courts. Just someone please edit the default courts for them so it wont be just the EA Sports Arena.

about the vid, i'm making one with a friend of mine, it will have screenshots and vids from the game and it will be really good

you guys just talk about it. We still need compatible .vp6 video of "The Amazing" video without audio, the one made by inaw is good, but as I've posted previously, it crashes after the video plays in the Background Menu. So please make one. For the intro video, I've already told you guys what to do with it!

I'm not really feeling the NBA in-game transition....the NBA logo is fine...but the black background looks weird....i think keep the logo but make the background transparent (like how the original runs)

It's just what it looks like in real life.

in the load/save screen...i can see that something happens when u click on a save file...but there isnt a constant highlight so you know which one is currently selected

It's an old bug I guess.

are the credits going to be changed to add patchers? =P i wouldnt mind that, or maybe a retired jersey would be cool.

After I've collected the fixes, I believe that it already reduced the Bugs/Glitches/Crashes to minimum. Playing the regular 30 teams would have no problems anymore. We cant totally removed bugs out of the MOD, we could just reduce them. So after that I'll send the files to RNS, he'll add the fixes (new files) then we're ready to go!
30 NBA Teams Guaranteed Minimal Crashes
National Teams really have a lot of bugs! Even from the original Beijing2008 MOD already have a lot of crash and bug issues. But still we're able to put the in the MOD (Credits to Mr.Aar representing the chinese patchers of the Beijing2008).

mshooter24, I have permission from BAYAG to use anything from his Classic Teams so if this courts are from this patch we can use them.
KidJustin, edit the location.dbf so:
every national team has wukesong as home court
every brand team has its corresponding court (furiouz have made them long ago but i don't know if vhan have included them)

Guys I really believe that we should not change the background videos because of the low quality the new videos will have.I also believe that the playoffs preview video should be put as an intro because it's the compilation of the song and the video that make this amazing,the video or the song itself are not so good alone.

Now something important.I really want help with some things that have stuck in my Live,they are very irritating...
I have already deleted the whole NBA Live 08 folder,uninstalled everything and reinstalled TWICE but there are some things that still remain and I cannot replace them...
These are:
Vhan's previous startup screens (the red ones with Tony Parker)
The album photos from my previous music patch.
A practise court made by jrmagic (can be found in the NLSC downloads section)
The song Goodlife by Kanye west which has got stuck in xsong1 on its own when I started messing with music
A scoreboard with the NLSC logo (I think DLC made it but I'm not sure about it)
I also have the original court previews for many courts like Cleveland

guys me pc is alright meanwhile and tomorrow I will start fixing the rosters
sorry but I wasn`t able to start today cause tomorrow I am writting exams in german language and it is important that I write well in this exam because I am senior in a kind of american college(the grade where I am now here in germany can be compared with college in usa) and next year I am about to study law and I need to have good marks in subjects like german so my sparetime is very bounded ...anyway tomorrow I will have done the players with the wrong bodies

I would suggest that we put the international teams out for now because they are full of bugs which were also in the Beijing patch and so we release just the nba teams, the default international teams but with the roster of 2008 and the add on and classic teams which have only minor bugs which can be easily be fixed.
now later after the mod is released we can fix the international teams without working under lot of pressure

haaaaanis, there are many bad ratings that need to be fixed.If anyone wants I can fix them but not through dbf editing.
Also you should edit the positions of the players.I had a fantasy draft today and the pool was full of PFs at the beggining and then SFs.AT one of my drafts I had to scroll down much to find something else than SFs.
Players with wrong height have also wrong weight I think.
I also think that I saw David West much shorter (6'3'')

Any idea on how to fix my problems?

Oh, I get it.. Then there is a lot of that.. Darnell Jackson has ovrl below 60 as well.. I'll better keep my own roster after release - too much time spent for that.

if we cant fix the National Teams added from Beijing2008 its just ok. We just leave it as it is.

maybe you just have the wrong routine of cleaning up NBA LIVE 08. others dont have the problem as yours. Just uninstall it and make sure that you deleted every single leftovers of NBA LIVE 08. Even the EA SPORTS folder.

if no one minds...i'd like to keep the original 70's-90's courts and ill add/create the add-on teams courts...ill grab the stadium files from the original

i'm thinking the citys for the teams will be as follows:
nike - Beaverton, Oregon (nike HQ)
jordan - Chicago, Illinois (like Bulls) or Chap Hill, North Carolina (like Tar Heels) or Brooklyn, New York (Airness Birthplace)
reebok - Canton, Massachusetts (reebok HQ) or Bolton England (Founding loc/location of Reebok Stadium - for soccer)

any suggetsions?

Its up to you dude. You can take the original files. Rename the courts (add-on team courts) that i've placed, and set the Add-on team rosters to their corresponding courts. Just upload or send them to me when you're done.
