"Correct, the same goes for the user as well. It should be noted that the CPU has its own comeback logic that will allow it to remain competitive and catch up without CPU Assistance being enabled."
Sorry, am not following you on this. Having it turned on means the CPU will catch up when behind, but if it's turned off they will catch up if behind due to their own comeback logic. If that's the case I don't see what it does?
I was playing 2005 last night, set up Spurs vs Pistons in the 05 Final. Game 3, up 33-24 going into the last quarter and then they go on a 13-0 run and win the game.
Very annoying. I was playing exactly as good as I had been all game, and it became unrealistic. They started making every shot. I started missing shots, such as lay ups which should go in if the game hadn't of helped the CPU. I had the assitance turned on. If I turn this off will I have a better chance of winning in that same situation again??
I got so annoyed I deleted the file. It was game 3 and I was down 0-3, even though I outplayed them and led in every 4th quarter going in. At that point the game stopped being basketball and became 'live stops me scoring and lets them catch up unrealistically'. I wasn't that annoyed with game 1 and 2 because it was a point or two lead - but in game 3 they score 21 in the 4th after scoring 24 in 3 quarters and I score 5/6 points after 33 in 3 quarters. My main guys were full of energy and Duncan couldn't hit a shot, or anyone else - completely unreal.
I left CPU assitance on as I use player lock on Tony Parker so presumed assitance made my CPU teammates play better.
