how do u like playing online??

I think the connection is much better than in Live 2001, I'm glad that I still can play with 56K modem, the thing is that we need to pay after 60 days free trial, which is not so fair in my opinion. Also I hate to play with those lamers who try to win the game with lots fouls, or using their own rosters with max rating.

Yep, I won't be playing after 60 days. The main reason is because people don't play basketball. Most people play drive ball, where they drive to the hoop to score everytime and have no intentions of playing a real BB game. The passing game and setting up is non-exsistent. Just fatbreaks and drives. Not much fun.

Hey UCCLAN,

it depends on your defense!
It's the easiest way to score by fastbreak or drive to the basket.

So why dont you keep those guys out of your zone and play transition defense on fastbreaks. Then fastbreaks will get rary and the players have to do the passing game or some set plays. Think about it, before you kick someone's ass, who just tries to get the easiest way to get a basket.

Wholeheartily agree with the poster above me.

I've won many games on-line using a variety of defenses. You'll usually spot a player who likes to *run'n'gun* because he always tends to use his 'superstar' player on each and every play.

I played a guy last night who used C-Web all the friggin' time. Inbound to C-Web..pass to C-Web..fast break with C-Web..freestyle with C-Web...dunk with C-Web...etc....

After the first quarter, I started to play defense. I used the following to contain him.

-Full Court Press: He couldn't inbound to CWeb anymore.
-Double Team: When he did find CWeb, I contained him. Left him no choice but to pass it. If he did try to freestyle his way out of a double team, it either ended up in a charge or a steal.
-Zone: I used this play to slow their tempo down.
-Man-to-man: I mainly used this play if *non-superstar* players have the ball.

Needless to say, he ended up using Peja for most of his points. Trying to shoot up threes and whatnots. I ended up winning by quite a large margin.
