Issac Hayes to Matt and Trey: Suck my chocolate salty balls

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Yeah, I was a bit skeptical when I saw that disclaimer during the episode but found it amusing all the same. The thing is, it was so far out it seemed like something Matt and Trey would come up with. But as they say, fact is often stranger than fiction.

Havent seen the episode but apparently he got mauled by a bear.

"A lot of us don't agree with the choices the Chef has made in the last few days," one of the children eulogizes him at a funeral. "Some of us feel hurt and confused that he seemed to turn his back on us. But we can't let the events of the past few weeks take away the memories of how Chef made us smile.

"We shouldn't be mad at Chef for leaving us," the eulogy concludes. "We should be mad at that fruity little club for scrambling his brains."

I also read that its unclear if he is actually is dead since they closed the episode with his 'fruity' group trying to revive him. Leaving the door open I suppose.

since its pretty much all given away already... may as well tell everyone what happens :P

at the end, the fruity club revives him into a chef-vader sort of thing, they wont need his voice for that anymore

i fucking loved the eulogy though. Kyle goes "alot of us dont agree with the choices made by chef over the last few days. some of us feel hurt and confused"
"we shouldnt be mad at chef for leaving us, we should be mad at that fruity little club for scrambling his brain."

they fucked over scientologists again and its awesome  i wasnt aware how quickly they were able to spit out an episode

they also used a bit from a recent family guy, where quagmire tries to pretend he is dead. they copied the way he died a bit, by just going completely over the top (and then the shitting part) - they did it exactly the same way in family guy

South Park had an earlier episode ("Something Walmart This Way Comes") where they had everyone empty the contents of their bowels like that.

Because of the way it's animated, they can produce episodes very quickly (in about four days, apparently) compared to other animated shows like The Simpsons (which take about 9 months per episode).

The episode was everything I expected it would be when I first heard about the falling out with Issac Hayes, and well up to the standard of deceptively clever satire amidst toilet humour they've perfected as the series wore on. Loved the "This is what the Adventure Club really believes" bit as well as all the "fruity club" references. Great ep. (Y)

I don't think we'll see much of Chef anymore (if at all), even though he's been kept alive a la Darth Vader. I reckon it was just a throwaway gag, an excuse to parody Star Wars: Episode III on top of giving a "screw you" to Hayes.

I don't know...he was OK for that one episode but I think a character like that runs out of comedic steam very quickly.

Saw this posted on another forum, which is quite interesting.

Hayes comments on Scientology episode

It's a clip from a radio interview (specifically the Opie & Anthony show) circa December 2005. Hayes doesn't seem to have a problem with the show, acknowledging that Matt and Trey have a go at everyone. Pressure from fellow Scientologists, perhaps?

That too.

There's now also talk that Hayes is still recuperating from the stroke he suffered in January and that the statement was put out on his behalf without his knowledge and that someone (again acting on his behalf but without his authorisation) resigned for him through his agent. Sounds a bit dodgy but it's worth noting considering the apparent complete flip-flop in his point of view.

I figured that...I'm just saying, all the more reason to leave him out. But hopefully he returns at least once so you can have the pleasure. (Y)

Anyway, turns out the rumblings about Hayes not being involved in his resignation are likely false. So it seems he did flip-flop.

I asked myself the same question and did some reading. Scientology has levels. You must attain a higher level before some more "teachings" are opened to you. Apparently, Tom Cruise and other ignorant stars are still at a lower level wherein they are not yet exposed to the higher level of teaching (or craziness). It's true that they do preach the belief about alien spirits and Xenu (w/c is like their devil) once a member reaches a higher level. Man they're crazy.

The duo signed the statement "Trey Parker and Matt Stone, servants of the dark lord Xenu."

 They did it.

Anyone seen the second episode of the tenth season yet, "Smug Alert!"? Another good one, though not as funny as the Chef ep.
