I know that the best players in the world play in the NBA, but that doesn't mean they have the right to use the phrase.
Maybe if they beat the Euroleague champions in a 7 game Finals type series they could call themselves World Champions.
I mean, we in Australia don't call AFL premiers World Champions even though we have the best league in the world.
