I think solid photo and video cameras are focusing to some particular area (distance).
Same 2K uses in MLB 2K games. YOu can even switch off that in mlb replays by pressing LC if I remember well.
That is OK.

Only human eyes can focus on everything

Managed to increase texture size to 4096x2048 in court file.
Image in the game looks pretty solid (sure depends on imported image quality)

No big advance with other files than Concetp 2846x1104, but I am collecting knoweldges and just a question of time when they will be cracked,
This is pretty a difficult task for me so please accept my appoliogiess for so big expectations and not so big result yet.

4096x4096 is a very big resolution and you say : " Image in the game looks pretty solid (sure depends on imported image quality)"...so using this method " the r4zor method" I put this question on my mind: where i found a court image whit this resolution? a logo on this resolution? need to find a lot of native verctor logos...because you know that the trasformation to vector have problems
and the file, how many Mb have?

I'm curious to see your update

File is +25 MB.

I will explain a little bit that 4096x4096 is not too much.

You know standard 2K logo with 512x512pcs.
It occupies maybe 10% of the field.

Now those 4096x4096 oare spreaded through all the field.
Thus 10% from this huge quantity is actually only 409x409 px. to the same area as logo.

I think it is not difficult find textures of 512x512 and spread them through all court.

I will make it all simple (as much as possible).
Wil lmake one court quickly (not accurate) and you can feel how it is in the game.

Maybe will make excel sheet in order everybody could recalculate spacing stuff (if my Open Office understand hex).

Ya. I have cracked probably everything regarding importing larger resolution as well as black court problem, furthemore without affecting other textures in the same file. This metthod can be applied to all court files, probably to face or uniforms too,
Thus all option are possible concerning how many and which texures are being deispalyed on the field - it could be only huge centre log or it could be default parquest, default side logs plus addition form this project, etc, same as Slep train logo" discussed earlier

Edit: "cracked" - I mean learned

Yes, change the size of the center logo and the rest to default is one of the possible options. Plus larger quality parquet too.

This is soounds pretty simple technicly, tho requires some time to master it.

Basketball court is not scuare but rectangular.
Pixel is square here.
Therefore if 4096 pixels fits horizontally well, then verticle there is not room to fit same line quantity of hor.pixels.
So they being decreased in on side so they could be able to fit.

And we see distorted/skewed image as aspect ratio is not maintained.

But solution is simple - change texture size, not 4096x4096 but to 3500x4500 or so, but there is a limit set in Config.cfg unders 2K users for max 4096 texture size and it is quite logical (to many MB if higher, a lot of PC would crash)
So I'll cut something and it will fit perfectly, no need to resize your picture later. 4096x4096 -is 16mln pixels, It will be visible on court about 12 million pixels I hope (to compare 1024x1024 is only 1 mln pixels), there is no other good solution imo.

yes, I use vector logos on my court.
I use Inkscape to trasform png,gif,jpeg logos to vector .svg...but the trasformation is not perfect, especially on logos whit some colors and details...and wordmarks whit a low resolution.
what program you use for vector?

yes, I use vector logos on my court.

what program you use for vector?

I use corelDraw to perfect it, but back in time and even these days I use sometimes Vector magic pro desktop edition. Its a pritty nice tracer and easy to use. That litle soft make a vector logo from image files in seconds (Y)

Here is todays Official Online court MILWAUKEE that I edited:

Center logo
4096 x 4096 px

Parquet
2048 x 2048 (I do not have such quality parquet texture, so it is just a resized 512 pic)

3D models did not touched.
Complete success.

Really finilizing that and will publish it very very soon.

It is so easy, took 5 minutes to make those changes.
Way way simplier it is written in tutorial few pages earlier
