Here are some results from a game between me (Suns) @ Atlanta. Sko, I think sliders feel very good on my side but the CPU had a REALLY difficult time scoring. It was a fun game and they made some runs but I never really felt like they were going to win. Leuer was fun to play with in the pick and pop game, Tucker hit all 4 of his 3pta in the first half, and Bledsoe/Knight are fun to play with. Horford and Teague just had bad games. I think we may look into lowering the CPU mid range tendency, also. It felt like they took A LOT of mid range jumpers, probably over 20.

took a deeper look into the ratings and imo this is not a good roster to play association with. no discredit here, i'm sure it was a lot of work to do these ratings, but the overalls are far from being realistic.

sefolosha starts instead of korver, stoudemire instead of bosh, muhammad instead of wiggins... come on man sorry, but this is crap. sure, it works for exhibition games and it's not easy to make accurate ratings in relation to the rotations, but imo, at least the starters should be rated above role players to make sure that they start in associaton mode

Okay, to everyone who don't like how some players are rated higher than others...change them yourself. Its pretty clear that the makers of this roster are pretty headstrong in the direction they're going and a little rant and some constructive criticism will not work. I have issues with every roster I have used, and of course I voice out my complaints without resorting to cheap shots and insults. But when it goes unnoticed or gets rejected, I simply brush it off and fix the things I don't like myself. Sure every update will be a pain in the ass, but it saves everyone time and energy being wasted on projection of unnecessary hate.

Part of the difference is, when you update a roster, you update one roster. When I update one player in one roster, I also update EVERY version of that player. I am not willing to make what would literally be hundreds or thousands of ratings changes just so somebody can start over somebody else when you yourself are acknowledging that minutes aren't given realistically by the AI in association mode, anyway. You have your method, I have mine. Mine just happens to have a great deal of ratings and tendencies based on real life stats and how the sim engine works. I can live with lower overall ratings because I know how many benefits there are to a project of this size and to an individual roster. Honestly, releasing an association file that has minutes/rotations set (like Sko does with season files) is the best way to go. After the 1st season of association, I shudder to think of what happens in rosters that don't have potential set to function realistically with how 2k's engine works. I think this project is slightly misleading at this point because there is only one "realistic" roster to look at. The NCAA roster is obviously fantasy. The rest will come in time.

Would you guys mind telling me what ratings you would change? If you don't mind, mention specific players and specific ratings. I'm willing to have this conversation but, please, let's stop with the disrespect.

Off and Def Awareness is the biggest overall changer in the formula that would allow you to at least be able to control the overall the way you like it, since both awareness ratings do a lot more than described in the game. That, how I see it is the easiest way to adjust overalls. I do remember 2K giving Dirk Nowitzki 99 OFF AWR and 80 DEF AWR just to give him a high OVR when we all know it's not the same for both cases. There is definitely a need to adjust to the game's engine, nobody can doubt that unless you are able to change the entire engine itself.

Youre wrong Med sry. I know what you try to post but youre wrong. Asso mode for every roster is bad, because cpu is doing what he want to do. What for you re making rotations then? If it revert to default 2k. Minutes the same. 2k logic in asso mode is bad for all rosters. If you dont have paid version of redmc you can forget about accurate or real stats, and without edited tendencies you are in real trouble. To be honest i never saw edited tendencies with the same scale in any roster around. And to be honest one more time, all rosters have pumped up players just to make their overall higher,pumped centers or power forward ratings for pg,sg or sf just to satisfy arcade players. Many guys around still dont know weight of some ratings(and im not talking about users) To play asso mode with some kind of realism you must choose 30 teams to control, turn off injuries and have at least editable teams tab in redmc. Without this no matter which roster you choose your game will go crazy right at the start of new asso.

Not every roster has a bad Assoc mode. I make updated rotations for quick game purposes (personal use, cos me and my father like to play without injuries). Every team has the same bad minutes logic, there is no doubt about that. However, there is some "quality control" you can do with the minutes by at least projecting the starters to share their actual time on the court. Like he said, some players start over actual starters when they shouldn't. HAWK23 and I use overall-intensive rosters which do not have that problem. The only issue would be having no sixth man because the sixth man almost always starts (ex. Jamal Crawford if he has too high a rating). So that thing you said "no matter which roster you choose, your game will go crazy right at the start" is wrong because some are still able to achieve somewhat realistic results through simulations (MVP awards, player stats for the Stars/Starters at least). We can't do anything about the bench's minutes and player stats, but we need to at least control the starters' minutes on the court.

And sry med but i would never visit your thread and critisize or pointing things youre doin wrong or inaccurate imo, ever. This is sad.

PS: I would prefer if you did, actually. I am more used to being an artist (pixel art) than a designer (roster modder), and constructive criticism comes naturally to me. Like someone here said, it is important to listen to the consumer/user because they are the ones who are actually using the mod a lot more than us content creators. slimm44 seems to understand that, so should you.

i can assure you slimm dont understand that LOL, if i will start to listen users i can be one of them not roster creator or modder, you must be sure what you are doin, you must be sure things are good or bad, im listening reports about wrong collars, missing jerseys,heads etc but man if you consider reports about ratings,tendencies it means youre not sure how your own roster should work . We build roster and every player on stats, if users prefer to use roster partly build on modder preferences and partly on users, it wont happen here.

So if you guys want to help please report missing/wrong art stuff and if ratings are far away from formula(there is a chance slimm made some mistakes in pasting through 15k players/versions).

Ok man i think i know what we really need from you besides accurate jerseys colors for some teams. Are you able to create reaally young faces for players in urbandncaa mod? Like vince carter, allen iverson, grant hill etc but also buck williams, herb williams. That would be epic, but im not sure do you have urb installed or you need some kind of list? If you are new user of U R Basketball project and you're interested only in 2015/2016 roster you must download all parts for current 2016 roster and remember to download part 7 only for 2k14. But If you are U R Basketball user from 2k13 and you still have zip parts somewhere, all you have to do is download part 7 only for 2k14 and paste all files from all parts into main game folder. After this you must download 2K14 Rosters Files.
If you want to use URBandNCAA roster, you must download all retro parts. In near future all those files will be in use for 1985-2015 rosters, so you will be ready and all you have to do is wait for next rosters.

list is long i think all you have to do is review my ncaa teams, we need iverson, larry johnson, mouring, ewing, mutombo, buck williams,kevin love,baron davis, latrell sprewell,mcdyess,mo williams,arenas,richard jefferson,james harden,byron scott,andrew lang, williamson,jason kidd,van exel,emeka okafor, ben gordon,clifford robinson, richard hamilton,caron butler,maggette,boozer,deng,udonis haslem,speights,mike miller,shumpert,jamal mashburn,joe smith,walt williams,juwan howard, jalen rose,
antawn jamison, james worthy,rasheed wallace,vince carter,rick fox,herb williams,coleman,lasalle thompson,reggie theuss,tim duncan,chris paul,james edwards.
Most important are older player and i need their look from college years, becaue sometimes even in their nba rookie year they looked waaay different comparing with college look. But if not college, give me everything you have more accurate to make them look younger. Thx in advance for your help.

Let's say I want to try these for the 2015-2016 season just to see how the gameplay and the association mode feels. But I don't want to download any retro stuff and I don't want anything on my 2k14 folder replaced (especially cf's). Is there ay way to do it?

I dont think so, you need seperate 2k14 clean instalation folder. This is massive project.

i didnt get my game to work.. like i always do is copy my game into a new folder.. so i have one clean nba 2k14.. one with kevins roster, one with UBR, and then i tried one with yours. What i do then is that i change the name of the nba2k14.exe file before i play.. so only the map i use is called nba2k14 and the exe file in that is nba2k14.exe..

i installed the mod ( only the current part 1 to 6 ) and then in the end the 7th zip file. My game crashed after loading. Could it be the shoefiles ?

just for all other in this forum im am one of the few people having this problem so just use this mod !! its working for everybody except me

For the 2K14 version of URB, don't copy the following files from any of the parts: "eventmusic.bin", "jukeboxmusic.bin", "loadingsequence.bin", and "loadm.bin". There is a "frontend_sync.iff" file from part 7 for 2K14 you must copy however. Let me know if that helped.

shinron15, there is no need to not copy some files, because in part7 all files will be overwritten with 2k14 modded files but correct for 2k14 game.

i build upp quite the list over the years with the best faces so i want to know if i can copy some ..

This is why you guys must read first, i posted this 6days ago.

it did work for me loading the actual roster without the actual files inside without a problem.. some file is either conflicting our causing something not to work for me

If you paste files from part7 only for 2k14 at the end it will work.
Maybe try to run offline or check your online folder, im not sure but only you and other guy reported problems and i have +2k downloads already.
