What makes this mod “sim”? Here are a few of the features that set this project apart from all others:

- Every art file (jerseys, arenas, cyberfaces, accessories, courts, dornas (advertisement at half court), etc is realistic and none will crash game play
- There is no missing art file in the entire project

Every player in every roster has:
- Accurate statistical ratings and tendencies to work with 2k's simulation engine while still providing realistic game play
- Realistic ratings and tendencies that affect game play but not the simulation engine ie dribbling, athletic ratings, post tendencies, etc.
- Realistic physical attributes that decrease after major injuries or as the player gets older
- Accurate play types
- Accurate contracts

- Accurately updated Coaching profiles and playbooks

- Draft classes that have realistic player information for every player

- A few slider sets designed to be a base for realistic game play

Are you planning on eliminating the 'Closer' Signature Skill? It seems to be way too overpowered.

I don't understand your response. The answer I was looking for was that you were gonna tell me which png numbers were which players. So we really just need 8 CFs?

RapboY, open slimm44's roster in my Roster Editor and look for the players. Their CF IDs assigned will show up. (I have to make that search by name thing work. :P)

this roster is awesome tried it a couple of times...having a problem though whenever i play the brooklyn nets or even open their team in the roster..the game crashes to desktop..what am i doing wrong?

Like that roster. Great effort! Only thing I've to complain about is Alexey Shved. He's 6'6", 182lbs and not 6'5", 162. ;)

@ tatlopuyo - I don't know why the game is crashing for you. I haven't experienced a single crash yet.

@ StormsWarning - I will probably not include Yao because he is retired. I plan on putting Webber on the Kings, though.

NOTE: All playbooks are set to User 1, a playbook that I put together that has only working plays. This helps gameplay out but also don't allow for the teams to play uniquely. If you prefer default playbooks, simply change the Coaching Profile.

If we decide to go back to them for uniqueness' sake, are the "default playbooks" still including changes such as the Run Plays slider, or should we go through them and put that one to 0? Any ideas which teams run the break more or play by principal more and should have Run Plays slightly higher?

Also, you're still using the same base roster as a base, right? I'm planning on copying your updates over to my Association, and want to know if Player IDs will match. What should I be copy-pasting and updating besides tendencies and signature skills?

Updated Opening Day Roster has been uploaded. I would leave the Run Plays Slider, Fast Break Slider, and Crash Boards Slider at 0 because I like how it plays that way. Feel free to tweak, though. If you change the playbooks, it doesn't effect anything else.

Yes, still using the base roster. All player ID's will be the same. Signature Skills have been updated since the last release. Those, Ratings, and Tendencies should be all you need.

Really nice work, Slimm! Appreciate all the extra work and research to make this one work. Just a few questions, since this, i think new, discovery http://www.operationsports.com/forums/n ... ients.html, and you editing everything based on research, do you recommend playing on pro default? Or does this roster still need some tweaking for realistic gameplay? And also, since i almost always play MyPlayer, and it is heavily CPU vs CPU with only 1 player being the human, does this roster play out nice on CPU vs CPU? Are there some things i should know? Again, thanks for this. (Y)

Also Slimm, looking at Real GM opening rosters, a lot of players in the Free Agency pool in your rosters are actually on their respective teams for sure now, like Shved, Wallace, Eddy Curry. Could you please update that and update their jumpshots and stuff like that?

I will continue looking at rosters over the next few days. As of last night, I didn't see those players under contract. I'll check some other sites and do some research. IIRC, Dallas already had 15 players under contract and didn't have space for Curry. Their signature moves should have been updated already, unless the person who did that part of the roster didn't do FA players.

I play on PRO with a pretty heavily tweaked slider set. I've found Pro/Default too easy, but that's me. Others have tried it and love it. Individual play styles and skill levels vary greatly so the questions you're asking can really only be answered by you playing and seeing what you think.

slimm44, Oh, alright mate, thanks for responses. And yeah, the players in the FA pool have everything on default, mate. And about Curry, they waived West recently for Curry who might actually start vs Lakers because there is so many injuries on Mavs right now :http://www.greenfieldreporter.com/view/story/7bae3ed725f34c06aa68751dc1fdeffc/BKN--Mavericks-West

Same thing with Wallace, since STAT is injured Wallace might have to play heavy minutes. And Shved was too impressive in Summer Camp not to get signed, haha. I think RealGM gets their things right, and updates regularly. These give me great real life stats, too bad i can't use it for association bc every draft class comes in with a bunch of high potential guys and diff rating systems. Bad enough i hate seeing generic faces that all look alike, i gotta see them all starting on their team ahead of guys who have been starters on their team for a good while.

What makes this mod “sim”? Here are a few of the features that set this project apart from all others:

- Every art file (jerseys, arenas, cyberfaces, accessories, courts, dornas (advertisement at half court), etc is realistic and none will crash game play
- There is no missing art file in the entire project

Every player in every roster has:
- Accurate statistical ratings and tendencies to work with 2k's simulation engine while still providing realistic game play
- Realistic ratings and tendencies that affect game play but not the simulation engine ie dribbling, athletic ratings, post tendencies, etc.
- Realistic physical attributes that decrease after major injuries or as the player gets older
- Accurate play types
- Accurate contracts

- Accurately updated Coaching profiles and playbooks

- Draft classes that have realistic player information for every player

- A few slider sets designed to be a base for realistic game play

Slimm44 I like your work on the roster. Will you add the missing players like Pablo Prigioni (NYK), Ben Hansbrough (IND), Alan Anderson (TOR) to mention just a few (wasn't able to check all rosters so far)?
