@JDXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX: Yeah, welcome to the forums. Keep up the constructive criticism. This'll keep you in the community.
chicagoRAW wrote:@SJ are you still tweaking the gameplay effect? Because your last thunder screen shots the gameplay effects look different (like they were before) than when you first said you found more gameplay values with the heat lakers screen shots.

What looks over sharpened? The crystal clear photomod? If that's what you're talking about then you want blurriness? That's why I love the crystal clear photo mod its crisp you can see everyones face nice and clear, all the other photo mods look out of focus.

I never said I want blurriness. I have sharpened NBA 2K12 via the global LOD bias from my graphics card's settings, but there's doing it, and there's overdoing it. I just feel the CCPM has overdone it, but to each their own. If you like it, fine. Photo-mods have all the settings tweakable anyway, so if someone agreed with me, they could always lower the sharpening factor a bit.
Only reason I don't use any photo-mod (even though some are impressive) is that I can't use Triple Buffering in conjunction with them, which is something I absolutely require, since without V-Sync the game tears really badly, but with just V-Sync and no Triple Buffering, the framerate hikes and drops are too big to offer a consistent lag-free experience. V-Sync and Triple Buffering is a must for me, and since photomods break that (due to the hacked D3D libraries ENB uses that don't have a setting for D3D triple buffering), I don't use them.
I'm just saying, there's other ways to sharpen the game and avoid the framerate loss that usually comes with photo-mods, if the rest of the stuff included in the photo-mod isn't that important.

I agree with ccpm is trash to me and always as been.... I made my share of photo mods this year and never created one tha was perfect or that wasn't a frame killer...I like playing 2k with high frame rate. Photo mods eat them up and ccpm is no exception.
