Man, fantastic work....

I have a little problem now...

Some dornas in 2k12 have 2560x128 resolution... i dont know why, .dds not saving this size, just 2048 maximum...

It´s possible import PNG files with your NBA2ktools? I trying here, but juts .dds option....

Thks

I´m using Photoshop CS3 and CS5, same problem...

I think it´s about .dds proportions.... i made dornas for BULLS...work perfect...(bulls uses 2048x128).... i try with Celtics (2560x128) and Heat (1536x128) and .dds not saving the file.... i have no option to save textures.

I test here, with 1024, 2048 works perfect....

I made a new texture with the 2506 proportions and exported it with no problem try making a new file from scratch with those proportions and see if you can export it

XnView Shell Extension Setup v3.10 (for windows explorer)

It´s a shell. You right click on the file and you will be able to select between different formats to convert. It recognizes DDS. I´ve just tested it.

Ok, worked.... but I dont know if I'm doing something wrong converting to png to DDS because the program increases the size of the image xD

- EDIT 1: Ok after sar Lagoa post I opened another one (Spurs) and no problem... so 3 size (maybe also 4) dornas are the problem :(

- EDIT 2: Forget it xD, the same problem trying to save the new graphics (spurs dorna) T.T

Probably they could be hexediting too. I mean after files are decompressed textures are available. So with hexedit you can get texture, edit and then paste it back to the decompressed file.

3072x128 doesn't work either (I can open it in photoshop, but I can't save it after the changes)

yep! same here....its not NBA 2k editor problem...

It´s a .dds problem....

I think only 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048 works.... other proportions you be unable to save...

.DDS file open normally with photoshop, but you can´t save.... if Modtools not support PNG or BMP files, we are in trouble this year... :(

xnview is a xnConvert?

Because this XnConvert not work....

If you try, the Boston files (2560x128) auto change his size to 4096x128... its a .dds problem with proportions....

I will try Suns file Joe.

Joe,

Suns 2048 works perfect here...

Look, after open a non 1024 or 2048 proportion on Photoshop....if you try save a 2048 after this won´t save....it´s a bug....u need to restart a PS and work on right resolution again...

Well.....we have a problem with this .dds files.... :(

PS: in game eletronic dornas work 100% here... ingame and replay....save the files in DTX1....

Bad news about the .dds files:

==== known fact, so you won't be surprised ====
- saving images whose dimensions are not of a power of two (like
640x480, 800x600 ...) to DDS just won't work (0-byte files would be
generated); and I have no control over that. HOWEVER, this is
absolutely inconsequential for us, mappers, as game textures are
always of a power of 2 (64x128, 256x256, 512x32 ...). This is not
a bug

=(

.dds just work with 2/4/8/16/32/64/128/256/512/1024/2048/4096

-fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

So you find textures that are not power of two ? I mean those textures were exported from dornas?

yeap...some dornas textures are not power of two this year :(

Heat: 1536x128
Boston: 2560x128

Power of two in this case would see: 1024x128 (works), 2048x128 (works) and 4096x128 (woks too)
