Sliders Explained

Level: Highest (Recommended Level: Assuming you use the sliders that are set below, the CPU plays smart and aggressive, but does not cheat. The only level that allows a proper simulation in game play.)
Half Length: 16 minutes (Good length )

Global Sliders

Game Speed: 65 (Game runs just right with this rating)
Free Throw Difficulty: 40 (You can relax a little if player is good at free throws)
Boundary Force Field: 50
Injury Frequency: 10
Fatigue Effect: 50 (Creates good substitution frequency)
Momentum Effectiveness: 75
Charge/Block Foul Frequency: 40
Shooting Foul Frequency: 47 (Able to get to the free-throw line a fair amount of the time)
Reach-in Foul Frequency: 40
In-air Collision Foul Frequency: 47

User Sliders

User Steal Ability: 25
User Interception Ability: 5 (Allows user to pass the ball in peace and disables CPU from constantly intercepting the ball)
User Shot Block Ability: 10 (This allows user to take proper jump shots without getting blocked every other possession)
User Dunk/Lay-up Block Ability: 30
User Freestyle Effectiveness: 30
User Dunk Frequency: 25 (This prevents the game from being a dunk fest)
User Offensive Rebounding: 0 (Eliminates user and cpu getting too many offensive rebounds; game still suffers with this rating though)
User Defensive Rebounding: 100 (Alleviates problem with players not getting enough defensive rebounds; game still suffers with players getting too many offensive rebounds.)
User Fakeout Discipline: 100 (Prevents players from jumping at every shot fake)
User Short Range Shooting: 75
User Medium Range Shooting: 65
User Long Range Shooting: 55
User Dunk Percentage: 75
User Lay-up Percentage: 75
User Adjusted Shot Percentage: 50
User Poor Release Shot Percentage: 50
User Double-team Effectiveness: 50
User Pro Hop Effectiveness: 50
User Drop Step Effectiveness: 50

CPU Sliders

CPU Steal Ability: 25
CPU Interception Ability: 5
CPU Shot Block Ability: 10
CPU Dunk/Lay-up Block Ability: 30
CPU Freestyle Effectiveness: 30
CPU Dunk Frequency: 25
CPU Substitution Frequency: 50
CPU Offensive Rebounding: 0 (Alleviates problem with players not getting enough defensive rebounds)
CPU Defensive Rebounding: 100 (Alleviates problem with players not getting enough defensive rebounds)
CPU Fakeout Discipline: 100
CPU Short Range Shooting: 75 (Any higher than this, scoring is not balanced)
CPU Medium Range Shooting: 65
CPU Long Range Shooting: 55
CPU Dunk Percentage: 75
CPU Lay-up Percentage: 75
CPU Adjusted Shot Percentage: 50
CPU Poor Release Shot Percentage: 50
CPU Double-team Effectiveness: 50
CPU Pro Hop Effectiveness: 50

lol space sliders , its seems to be very easy to score :?

its user interception not CPU interception

Free Throw Difficulty: 40 (You can relax a little if player is good at free throws)
too easy :/ we can take a coffee before the ball arrived in the center

Game Speed: 65 (Game runs just right with this rating)
its too quick :? its like nba jam XD

and it isn't in the good thread should be moved in Sliders discutions

Well, those sliders work best for March Madness 2006 anyway. They may not be the best for NBA Live.

Again, it's one man's opinion. It all depends on what your cup of tea is and what works best for you.
