Michael Jordan's ratings

I've noticed that Michael Jordan has an 82 jump rating but only a 55 dunk rating.

Jordan can therefore leap higher than most players in the game, but once up there, will do anything but throw it down (in Simulation mode). Does anyone else think this is a little strange? As a reference, Scottie Pippen has a 78 dunk rating, Derek Fisher also has 55.

Also, Jordan has a three point rating of 70 combined with a shooting range of 20' and a high FG rating. This basically means that Jordan will brick wide open 3 after wide open 3, yet hit most shots from a step inside the line... isn't this a little unrealistic? Long range shooting is one of the last skills to erode over time (look at all the 'marksmen' that have hung on a few extra years because while they are a little slower, they can still knock down the 3). I know Jordan's 3 point shooting isn't what it was as far as the numbers go, but many of those shots are taken at the end of quarters or as "bailout" shots... in Chicago, there was Paxon, Armstrong, Kerr etc to shoot the three when the offense wasn't working. Again, does anyone think this should also be changed in roster updates?

you're right..in my opinion his jump should definitely be even LOWER than that..notice he can't jump very high at all anymore..dunks?..verrrry seldom...in fact he can hardly get his shot off nowadays without a pump fake..and his fadeaway that used to be unblockable?...well..so much for that!

yes but it's a game..unless they further divide the court into different sections other than FG and 3Pt..i don't see what they can do a/b it

MJ has never been a very good 3-point shooter..and despite the trend that old player's shooting is the last thing to go..well..should be true..but for some reason with him..his 3-pt shooting just licks nuts now and i think the rating should stand

Even when MJ was good, he couldn't hit 3s... But in reality he COULD take a step in front of the line and nail everything...

AS for his jumping, he can barly get above the rim, and has missed more dunks the last 2 seasons than is his whole career...

Plus he ruined a 916 game streak of 20 and above!

Michael actually ruined that 20+ points streak in 1997-98, early in the season, Michael had only 11 points against Toronto.

He scored only 6 points in one game... National news!
