anyone else think his neck and and head seemed like one stuck together object? (as in like it looks like his head rests right inbetween his shoulders, no neck. Same thing goes to a similar shawn marion picture on gamespot)

in that one though, VC is jumpin in the air so his jersey is flyin up so it looks like its part of his head.

My new Knicks assocciation is going since my old one got erased. I'm 0-2 . Damnit , Antonio Davis only averages 2 pts a game!! Anyways , yea I hope it gets better . I fixed some sliders to make the gameplay a little better. My team is last in offensive rebounds.


By the way Emiliano , Fabricio Oberto isn't in the game.

I was about to say that Oberto isn't in the spurs lineups neither in the FA list. I thought 2k6 roster is more updated than Live 06.

Lower the cpu and your offensive rebounding attributes and maximize your deffensive rebounding attributes in gameplay slider, it works for me.

i'm pretty much basing my answer on seeing joe johnson in the hawks uniform for 2k6 while he's still in phoenix in live 06.

i love how easy it is to "assign" a team to a player in 2k6 instead of throwing him in the free agent pool

This game is really pissing me the fuck off. It's great and all but it's so hard and I get really mad when the CPU starts kicking my ass.

Just checked my VIP profile and I'm under .500 in this game. The AI is so difficult, but I guess that's a good thing.

after having this game for a couple weeks i've finally won a game by 10 points.
dirk nowitzki was my guy.. 32 points, 14 boards, 9 assists, 9 blocks -- and the funny thing is i didn't even try to statwhore him until the last minute and a half when i saw a quadruple double emanating

I rented 2k6 on Sunday and....I LOVE IT!!! FINALLY I'VE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH A VIDEOGAME AT FIRST SIGHT! The presentation left me starstruck! I.N.C.R.E.D.I.B.L.E! The graphics rock and the gameplay feels like you are watching a real nba game. I am definately gonna buy this game. Sorry NBA Live 06, I gotta buy 2k6 this year.

PS. The Association Mode(Dynasty mode) is the best dynasty mode I have EVER seen. Just perfect.

Gamespot on upcoming xbox 360 sports games!

Sports fans should be happy to know that they've never seen anything that looked as good as the three games shown, as Madden NFL 06, NBA Live 06, and NBA 2K6 looked scary-good. When Raptors point guard and journeyman Mike James (Mike James!!) is instantly recognizable on the court, it's obvious that graphics have come a long way.

But if looks determined sports success, Anna Kournikova would be a billion-time Grand Slam champ. The two EA games look finger-lickin' good, and it appears as though that was the developers' main objective. Cutscenes, intros, and even menus all look spit-shined and incredibly presentable. But once the action began on the field/court, things dip down to junior-varsity level. Each game crashed at one point, and more than once, play was chunkier than Warren Sapp. NBA 2K6, on the other hand, felt more toned down through intros and menus, but once players began hooping it up, the game dazzled because of its smooth gameplay.

I hope all this talking about 360's releases will not delay the PAL version of 2k6 for current consoles.....it is already scheduled for mid novemeber in Europe...and it's shame it's that late. DOn't they understand they may lose sales to Live because of being so late in Europe???

Last year, 2k5 hit the shelves in mid February....I hope it does't happen again cause I can't wait for this game!!

By the way, i got my hands on a free copy of Live 06 (I am a marketing manager for a consumer electronics retailer.....) and in my opinion it's really a bad game. Only thing I like are the jerseys, and the lighting effect, but everything else is just like last year or even worse. The Freestyle Superstar is a joke..I can dunk 30 times per game if I want...

I like the jerseys in 2K6 but i dotn like the logos on them, they just seem to stick out too much. The logos seem to be kinda "thick".

Your probably right, 2K6's jersey logo being thick. You can also notice Sun's jersey number on the short should be in the gray color side area like in the 2K6.

fuck i finally beat the pistons on superstar level with the heat, by 10..
final score was 122-112

i got outrebounded again, but i got some crucial rebounds in the final 2 minutes of the game. the game was closer than the score indicates, i got some fortunate fastbreak opportunities in the end (i only got 1 or 2 the first 3 quarters). in addition, i couldn't stop tayshaun prince but then again i had antoine walker guarding him. player of the game award went to dwyane wade with 38 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists, 4 steals, 1 block. i think it should've went to shaq though, he pretty much brought us back into the game when we were down. his numbers weren't too shabby either -- 27 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block. antoine walker had 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists while jason williams and gary payton registered 14 points, 10 assists and 11 points 10 assists respectively.

Nice stat's, how many minuters per quarter your playing the game?
I'm playing 2K6 in Association mode with Suns(9W-3L) in Superstar level on 9 minutes per quarter(normal speed), my team usually scored 95-100+ per game and Steve Nash is averaging 24.5 pts, 13.5 Assist, 1.8 steals per game, Amare is averaging 23.2 pts, 9.7 Rebounds, 2.4 blocks per game while Marion is averaging 18.9 points 9.2 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, 2.1 steals per game. It's really nice because all my stats are pretty realistic.
