Nets Open New York City Ticket Sales Office

The Nets have opened their first-ever sales office in Manhattan to intensify their goal of selling new premier seating to a New York audience
it was announced today by Nets Vice President of Ticket Sales Fred Mangione.
For the upcoming 2007-08 season, the Nets will install 16 “Hollywood” courtside seats,
which includes four front-row seats on each side of the scorers table, and eight seats behind those in row B.
In addition, the team will add a new Row D at courtside, which includes 48 seats.

"With our new premier seating offering this season, we felt it was important to increase our reach into New York by having a full-time sales
staff based right in the city," said Mangione.
"Our ticket sales in New York have grown tremendously over the past two seasons, and with our move we wanted to begin sampling our new premier inventory."

The Nets have signed free agent guard Jeff McInnis, Nets President Rod Thorn announced today.
As per club policy, terms of the contract were not released.
"We were looking to strengthen our backcourt during the offseason, and by signing Jeff, we feel that goal has been accomplished," said Thorn.

Selected after his junior season at UNC by the Denver Nuggets in the second round (37th overall pick) of the 1996 NBA Draft,
the 31-year old McInnis has played for five teams during his NBA career (Denver-1996-97, Washington- 1998-99, LA Clippers-1999-02, Portland, 2002, 39 games in 03-04 and Cleveland).
His best statistical season was 2001-02, when he averaged 14.6 points and 6.2 assists for the Clippers.
