Story @ RealGMThat certainly isn't going to put an end to the speculation anytime soon but I still don't think LeBron leaving Cleveland is a foregone conclusion. It's certainly a possibility but I think the chances of him remaining with the Cavs are higher than they're being made out to be.

especially with the way they're playing at the moment. If they're still keeping up this current form and are one of the elite teams when the time comes, i reckon he'll stay...

nah, i bet Dwyane, LeBron, Bosh will stay with their teams! for those 3 guys there are no reasons to leave, cuz all 3 team are strong and competitive, especially cavs! and they'll gt their money from present teams also!

If Bosh would get an offer from either Mavericks, Spurs or Rockets, he'd probably go. I'm not sure, though.

Why those teams in particular?

Probably cuz Bosh is from Texas

Fair enough. It's not a deciding factor for a lot of players though and those teams may not have the money to offer him a max deal in a couple of years, depending on the moves they make between now and then. If it is a deciding factor for the top free agents in 2010 though, Cleveland has nothing to worry about with LeBron.

I'd cream my pants if Bosh goes to SA. But that's a big stretch.

http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archi ... for_$200m/I hope this guy can tell the future. Come to New York LeBron... My god I would have a heart attack.

With the contracts that will expire in the next two years, the Knicks would be under the cap in 2010 and could sign LeBron to a max deal. The problem is, they'd need to sign at least six or seven players (depending on who's still around and whether anyone who can opt out does) just to have twelve players and other players they sign within the next couple of years can't be represented yet (but have to be taken into account). If they can trade a couple of their big contracts like Zach Randolph and Eddy Curry for expiring deals, they can be assured of enough cap room to sign LeBron and then some come 2010.

that's the point! NYK has nothing more to propose James , that he has in Cleveland! and james want a ring! so NYK wont has enought money to bring in James + another contributor!

Lebron James will never be a champs or best of the best if he not going to win a ring in his life so Chicago is the place for him to win multiple ring...Return of a New Chicago Bulls Dynasty
Thu Nov 20, 2008 5:51 pm
Chicago? I would say his best chanches to win a ring would be with the Cavs or Pistons. The Nets are still in the game but just because they want to move to Brooklyn and because of Jay-Z. Another reason for the Nets or Knicks could be the big market, Nike would love that.
But i don´t see Chicago to get Bron.
To the Bosh topic i guess he leaves the Raptors and goes to the Cavs or Mavs.

actually i don't care as long as Wade stayes in Miami!

What gives up the idea that Bosh is going to Cleveland?
Fri Nov 21, 2008 5:57 am
LeBron would love to play with 'The Shycago' (Rose), he has stated before, that he'd love to play with a point guard like Jason Kidd, Dare is not far away from that, but right now he's like a score first guy, 'cause all the open looks he gets to his teammates, are bricked. ( I know he's still an awesome scorer, etc. " Though, I seriously doubt Bron would go to Chi-town, he'd also have to change his number. He'll probably move to NY or stay in Cleveland.

I'd love to see it and with a few of the current core players I think he could have some successful seasons in Chicago but it's not happening; they won't have the cap space to offer him a max deal.

i predict a SCARY pistons team in 2010.
Wed Nov 26, 2008 8:51 am
Personally, if he was to sign with a new team, I'd like to see him with legit big man like Bosh or Yao. Imagine what it'd have been like, if Boozer stayed with Bron.
But for now, I don't think he'll go anywhere. My prediction is him retiring as a Cav unless he gets really old and get really hungry for the ring.
Wed Nov 26, 2008 10:35 am
I don't think factors like his friendship with Jay-Z or the appeal of playing in New York are as important as they're being made out to be. That's not to say they carry no weight but I think the quality of the team and their chance to compete for championships will be the deciding factors. He knows he can get a big payday from anyone who can afford it, he knows he'll be the star wherever he goes and whether he's in Cleveland, New York or somewhere else, he remains extremely marketable. It then comes down to whether he believes Cleveland can still compete in a couple of year's time and whether anyone else who can sign him can offer him a greater chance of winning it all; if he doesn't think so, then I think it's likely he'll stay.
