Since you are going with the 360 just get a wired one. It will save you money and your only going to be 2 feet away anyways.

Can the game be played with a PS3 controller as well? Is it highly playable or does the Xbox 360-pad have an advantage?
The PS3 pad feels better in my hands...I prefer the buttons to Xbox 360's.

I use a Rumblepad 2 as well because I cannot even consider using a non-PS2 kind of controller, but I must admit that it's not always very responsive, I assume it's because it's not a 360 controller.

Is a PS3 pad as responsive as a 360 controller? My gamepad isn't that responsive either and you have to press both left shoulder buttons to do iso moves. My pad is too small or I have too big hands...anway, in order to be able to press two shoulder buttons simultaniously I have to position my left hand in a different way than usual. It's much better with a PS3 pad. Unfortunately, the Xbox controller does not lie that good in my hand as well so I'd rather buy a PS3 pad if it would be as responsive as a 360 pad.

Can I use an XBox360 controller labelled as xbox360 or do I have to buy one labelled as "for xbox360 & PC"?

Leander, xbox360 controllers can be used for PC...it doesn't have to have a "For PC" label...you can check at the back of the package if it has the Windows logo...the wired controller is USB so you can just download the driver from

then plug your controller and wait for it to install then your good to go...
