How do you decrease foul 3 point plays?

There are so many foul 3 point plays (meaning a player goes for lay-up, gets foul, and basket goes in). Can I decrease this?

I guess the "layup" setting in the sliders, turn it down. Maybe also the "attack the basket" one.
